This matched my papasan chair pretty well. Looks grained a bit. Don't like that it slips on itself when assembling to the chair but a couple extra pin nails worked fine. It stretches, but don't overstretch, it looks weird

The plastic reed was a bit bigger than I needed but it got the job done. I wanted to staple and glue it down, so even if the staples failed it would stay on and that's not possible. Just be aware this plastic reed cannot be glued down using super glue or wood glue. The staples would sometimes cut the reed in half. Almost like scissors would which is why I wanted the extra security of the glue, but the glue would just peel off. Also, the reed is very slick so it's hard to put a staple gun on it and have the staple gun not slide off when you put pressure. Other than that it worked well for $12. We re-made our headboard using this rattan to wrap the top trim. Happy with how easy this was to work with and how it turned out. (Headboard was solid black with black-tufted leather look we replace with cowhide.)
