This is by far one of the best Amazon purchases I have made probably in my entire life. I am in love with my chair. It’s like sitting in a very luxurious cocoon. I was able to put it together myself because I was impatient and determined, but it would have been easier with two people. Nonetheless, I was victorious. This thing is sturdy. I am not a small person, but even I can sit comfortably every which way in this beast of a chair. It is huge, plush, comfy, and not to mention absolutely gorgeous. It is truly great quality and well made. I am also impressed with the weather resistance this chair has. When it rains, rain beads and/or pools on the outside of the cushions and is not really absorbed. The cushions never soak up water so I never have to worry about it drying out after a storm. Nice quality sturdy egg chair. It’s comfortable and perfect for my reading nook. It’s also quite large. I’m 5-7 and I can curl my body entirely in the egg…it’s oddly nice, feels like cozy chamber. I’m very pleased with this chair, pretty easy to put together, sturdy and oversized for a person to curl up in. The padding is nice and firm, the material seems nicely weather resistant. I did get a cover to put on it to keep clean from bird dung and spider webs. Stylish and sleek, it’s a nice looking chair to display on a patio, sun room or porch. Only drawback was one of the sections had a pice of wicker that was broken and coming unwrapped around the frame. Easy enough to fix with some glue, hopeful that will do the trick, didn’t want to have to send this back and delay my enjoyment of my new reading chair. overall I definitely recommend this chair. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. When you buy stuff from Amazon you assume there’s a chance the materials could be shoddy, it’s smaller than you thought, or the thing is flimsier than you want. This chair is NOT that. It’s perfect. I’m 5”2 and was able to put it together on my own even in the Texas heat. It is somewhat heavy, but in a very sturdy kind of way that makes me feel confident it’ll stay put and last a good while. The cushions are comfy although I wish the bottom one was thicker. It has a zipper so I may stuff it additionally myself. The only downside was the packaging of the screws and other hardware. Impossible to open without destroying the markers indicating what is what, or having the pieces fly everywhere. I also wish this chair came with a - maybe optional - foot rest of some kind. To recline at all you’d need to sit sideways, otherwise you have to sit straight up. But that’s a nitpick. I’m very happy I treated myself to this chair! ... show more

I love this chair, my dog loves this chair, my neighbors love this chair. It looks beautiful and has a sturdy structure. The wicker is pretty delicate, one scratch against the door when I was moving it outside and it broke, but I glued it and it’s hidden in the back so no biggy. I assembled it myself, which wasn’t easy, so if you can enlist another set of hands it will move the process along much quicker. Two holes were misaligned to the point I could not use the hardware, but it seems to be fine without the screw. ... show more
