This is by far one of the best Amazon purchases I have made probably in my entire life. I am in love with my chair. It’s like sitting in a very luxurious cocoon. I was able to put it together myself because I was impatient and determined, but it would have been easier with two people. Nonetheless, I was victorious. This thing is sturdy. I am not a small person, but even I can sit comfortably every which way in this beast of a chair. It is huge, plush, comfy, and not to mention absolutely gorgeous. It is truly great quality and well made. I am also impressed with the weather resistance this chair has. When it rains, rain beads and/or pools on the outside of the cushions and is not really absorbed. The cushions never soak up water so I never have to worry about it drying out after a storm. This is a very solid chair. Assembly wasn’t too bad, it took me about 45 mins. Might be a good idea to assemble the bottom first due to the top not being flat and as easily to turn upside down to assemble (if one person project on hard wood flooring). The tools aren’t all that but got the job done. If operating with finger nails you can expect to drop them frequently lol. I love this chair, my dog loves this chair, my neighbors love this chair. It looks beautiful and has a sturdy structure. The wicker is pretty delicate, one scratch against the door when I was moving it outside and it broke, but I glued it and it’s hidden in the back so no biggy. I assembled it myself, which wasn’t easy, so if you can enlist another set of hands it will move the process along much quicker. Two holes were misaligned to the point I could not use the hardware, but it seems to be fine without the screw. ... show more

Overall, this is a great chair! I was able to put it together in about 30 minutes. I did most of it myself, and had some assistance toward the end when putting on the base. It could be done with one person, but is easier with two. The chair is pretty comfortable. For taller people, I would recommend also getting some sort of foot rest. Not really any back support, but I use one of the side cushions for back support and that works fine. I wish it had come with one additional smaller cushion for that purpose, but that’s an easy fix on my end. Other thing for taller people - if you lean all the way back your head might be above the cushion, so you may need a small pillow for your head. Overall, happy with the purchase! The media could not be loaded. When you buy stuff from Amazon you assume there’s a chance the materials could be shoddy, it’s smaller than you thought, or the thing is flimsier than you want. This chair is NOT that. It’s perfect. I’m 5”2 and was able to put it together on my own even in the Texas heat. It is somewhat heavy, but in a very sturdy kind of way that makes me feel confident it’ll stay put and last a good while. The cushions are comfy although I wish the bottom one was thicker. It has a zipper so I may stuff it additionally myself. The only downside was the packaging of the screws and other hardware. Impossible to open without destroying the markers indicating what is what, or having the pieces fly everywhere. I also wish this chair came with a - maybe optional - foot rest of some kind. To recline at all you’d need to sit sideways, otherwise you have to sit straight up. But that’s a nitpick. I’m very happy I treated myself to this chair! ... show more
