These are great chairs and sturdy enough to survive our most recent hurricane weather!! They do rust but not as much as some others and if you keep them out of water, they won't rust at all. I have mine under a canopy and didn't realize water could still get in and so 1 of the chairs has a slight bit of rust but it still works great. The recline is easy and weight capacity is min 250. Everybody that comes over enjoys them, in and out of the sun. They are easy to fold right up when not in use and easy to carry on the go! We purchased these last year for the purpose of using them at car shows and other outdoor events. We couldn't be happier with them. The materials appear quite good, and the comfort is fantastic. Framework is quite sturdy as well. Would definitely purchase again!

They are comfortable, they look good! I have had them for 2.5 years now and i did not notice the slow degradation of the elastic cords and the slow corrosion (rust) of the frame. My 2 chairs have been on the lania in the shade in Florida, not on the beach. I just replaced the cords for the first time, should have done it 6 months ago. The metal is really rusty, i think it's from sitting in the chair with a wet bathing suit from a saltwater pool. I had to remove the bottom half of the fabric completely then metal brush all the metal loops and use rusty metal primer then flat black. This was a touch up job not a complete paint because they just aren't worth more trouble. I noticed that on one chair the metal washer holes - one of them is about had it. So i'm buttoning it up with new cord and a touch up paint and maybe it lasts 6 - 12 more months. **SO...if you have them in the shade and don't get any kind of water on them, they may last more than 2 years without the rust. The cord really seems about 18 months, of only casual use. ... show more
