I am OBSESSED with this chair. I have wanted one of these chairs FOREVER and was so exited when I finally found this one on sale. The box they come in is HUGE and building them took a bit of trial and error in figuring out which piece was what because they were not labeled. Once we figured out the pieces the chair was easy to build. This chair is SO comfortable. The cushions are thick, the chair is sturdy and I do not feel like I need to worry about it breaking, and the gray color is perfect. This is easily one of my favorite purchases from Amazon! I love the width of this chairā€”itā€™s exactly what I was looking for. I can sit cross-legged with room to spare, making it feel like a chair and a half. The seat is also much deeper than I expected, which adds to the cozy, cocoon-like feel. Itā€™s incredibly sturdy with a solid frame, though Iā€™d recommend adding a lumbar pillow for extra support. The cushions are on the thinner side, but thereā€™s enough space to add additional padding if needed. I also added grommets to tie them down to the frame since the material is a bit slick, similar to Sunbrella fabric, which led them to gradually slide off. But, the grommets have held up really well because the fabric is so strong. I have mine on a porch thatā€™s open on two sides, where it gets plenty of sun and wind-blown dust. Amazingly, it hasnā€™t faded, and I havenā€™t had to clean it onceā€”the dust just doesnā€™t stick! This is by far one of the best Amazon purchases I have made probably in my entire life. I am in love with my chair. Itā€™s like sitting in a very luxurious cocoon. I was able to put it together myself because I was impatient and determined, but it would have been easier with two people. Nonetheless, I was victorious. This thing is sturdy. I am not a small person, but even I can sit comfortably every which way in this beast of a chair. It is huge, plush, comfy, and not to mention absolutely gorgeous. It is truly great quality and well made. I am also impressed with the weather resistance this chair has. When it rains, rain beads and/or pools on the outside of the cushions and is not really absorbed. The cushions never soak up water so I never have to worry about it drying out after a storm. Overall, this is a great chair! I was able to put it together in about 30 minutes. I did most of it myself, and had some assistance toward the end when putting on the base. It could be done with one person, but is easier with two. The chair is pretty comfortable. For taller people, I would recommend also getting some sort of foot rest. Not really any back support, but I use one of the side cushions for back support and that works fine. I wish it had come with one additional smaller cushion for that purpose, but thatā€™s an easy fix on my end. Other thing for taller people - if you lean all the way back your head might be above the cushion, so you may need a small pillow for your head. Overall, happy with the purchase!
