I wanted cheaper flameless candles that are safe. These fit the bill. They are great. They have a nice light. They don't look real if you're looking at them. If you're seeing them from the corner of your eye or from a distance, they look real. The remote control is also a very nice feature. Batteries are not included in this product. My four-star rating is NOT because of the candle's design or make. The four-star rating is because the candles came with a few scratches on the outside. I wasn't happy about it, and I could've sent them back. But it's likely that I would've gotten more scratched candles. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for flameless candles and doesn't mind if they come scratched or would go through the hassle of returning them and getting a new set. ... show more

These look absolutely beautiful and very realistic. Iโ€™m definitely buying another set. I have had so many compliments on them and my husband thought they were real at first. The glass is not real but youโ€™d never know it. I put mine in the windowsill with my drapes and itโ€™s very festive and elegant. Iโ€™m very picky about the way things look and I enjoy decorating my home with a Pottery Barn/ Crate and Barrel vibes. These fit perfectly. Iโ€™m glad I took a chance on these. Each candle takes 3 AAA batteries. The remote luckily has a battery in it already so itโ€™s ready to use.
