I have mixed emotions about this chair. If you are looking for an “executive desk chair” (quote from the description) this is not that. This chair is much smaller than an executive high-back chair. It is also less plush than an executive chair, and it does not recline. However, if you are looking for a chair that gives good support for working at your desk, this might be just perfect for you. This chair seems very well made, with good attention to detail. It is very supportive in all the right places if you want to sit upright and work. The cushions are a bit firm, but that adds to the support. Do not compare this chair to a high-back plush reclining executive chair because this chair was not intended to compete with those chairs. It would be fair to compare this with mid-size working chairs that you can sit in all day and work in a more upright position. If a work chair is your goal, then this is a good chair for you. It will keep you from slouching at your desk. Assembly was not difficult, and you need no tools other than the one you get with the chair. I bought this chair because my old one broke. Currently, it is meeting my expectations. The installation was seamless and easy because there is an instruction manual and all the tools necessary are included. It only took me about 15 minutes to assemble the chair. It smaller than my previous chair which is fine for me, because it fits me perfectly. For reference, I am about 5'3'. The leather is high quality and won't peel, unlike my old chair. This chair isn’t meant for taller folks so we wouldn’t recommend this if you’re 5’8” and taller because of how short the backside is. The quality is decent on this chair, it isn’t the most comfortable chair either. It looks fantastic with the brown but comfort isn’t exactly there.

    • Decent basic desk chair - tricky assembly
Size: MP245 Color: Brown
Note, this is not a gaming chair (but at this price I wouldn't expect it to be). It is a decent chair worth the price. It is not super plush, but it is comfortable. Assembly instructions were mostly easy to follow (pictures AND text) but left out one critical aspect: At each step they tell you to tighten the bolts. If you do this with the bolts on the armrests you will not be able to get the chair back on. I tightened the bolts to the seat and then the top bolts to the chair back but then the bottom of the chair back would not even go between the armrests. I loosened the top bolts to the chair back more than half way out and still could not get the bottom between the arm rests. I had to also back out the bolts to the seat half way to get the back done. Moral of the story: Only tighten the bolts half way until they are all started and then tighten them all down (except the legs and the base plate - tighten them before starting at the armrests). If you do this assembly will only be a little difficult (but probably easier with 2 people). I do like the chair and do feel that it is worth the price. ... show more
