The non-stick coating is incredibly durable and easy to clean, while the toughened glass exterior means I can heat it to high temps without worrying about it breaking.     Be sure to follow directions for first time cleaning before use stated in the included booklet. The sides of the pan do not match standard lids so one must purchase the additional matching lid.       • The best skillet I've ever used - including le creuset cast iron

    This skillet is just perfect in every single way. The heat distribution is excellent and although the handle is metal, the heat doesn't travel far up the handle so it's possible to use it without cooking gloves. It's also light, which is nice. Cleaning it is so easy that I nearly can't believe it. I seared chicken on it, which left a good bit of built up residue, gunk, etc that would typically take some scrubbing to remove. With this, I just ran it under hot water and half the residue was gone just like that. The rest was wiped away with a few quick scrubs, no elbow grease required. Truly incredible. The one thing I would say is I wouldn't recommend metal utensils. I know it can be used with them, but I also have the saucepan and using a metal whisk on that has left marks. You're better off using silicone. ... show more

    It was totally worth the splurge. I am slowly replacing all of my non-stick pans because of the non-stick coating. They’re all peeling and I feel it’s unsafe to continue using them. This Le Creuset pan is just a really good all around pan. One can feel the quality simply by picking it up. The first use, I had a bit of issue with sticking, but once I used it a few times, nothing sticks. And the non-stick coating on this pan seems like such a better quality than my old ones.     Bought this pan months ago. The drudge of scrubbing my old pan every time I made scrambled eggs was getting on my nerves. The description for this Le Creuset is true. This is a rinse only pan. I told my husband, if we have to evacuate because of a fire I'm taking the pan. Would give it as a gift.
