Purchased this for me and a G3 for my wife! She is 100 lb lighter than me or more and doesn't really matter, this thing hauls ass even without much effort. I like that the charger is 3 amp but then it trickles down to a 2.5 amp cord. This cord should remain three amp across the board. Another design thing that I wish is that the stem itself was rock solid firm. When you push off and pull yourself up as a 260 lb male you can feel a little bit of flex in the handlebar which does not inspire confidence and it's not very much at all but it could be much tighter. My daughter has a competitor brand S2 and it will only do 19 mph which is fine but I can tell you after writing these now you absolutely do not want any scooter without air in the tires and full suspension! The S2 is great for lightweight folks and folks that just want to use it to get around maybe the paddock or a fairground or around town for a mile or two or three. We went out for a 9 mi ride today and I used one out of 10 battery bars, couldn't even believe it and I was on intermediate sport power. The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the G4 scooter without high expectations, but it has truly impressed me. I previously owned a ninebot scooter, but it doesn’t compare to the G4. This scooter is incredibly fast and not suitable for beginners, as it can be dangerous if not handled properly. If you’re considering this scooter, make sure you can confidently control a scooter at speeds up to 30 mph, because the G4 is really fast. I weigh 180 lbs, and I’ve reached top speeds of around 38 to 39 mph. This scooter is well-built and definitely worth the money. The Kukirin G4 electric scooter is a fun ride. I've been using for the past couple of months to get to and from work. I'll start with the good: it's fast, smooth, and relatively light for the speed. I feel very nimble and quick when I ride. Now the criticism. The bike only has about a 32 mile range in the city. The battery life is about 60% of what is advertised. The throttle is defective. It will occasionally get stuck open which can be very dangerous. However it also functions as a cruise control once you get used to it. When you come to a stop, the scooter will sometimes fail to start until you get off and push. This appears to be some sort of safety feature which ironically makes the scooter less safe overall. Overall, a decent scooter. Perhaps they will fix these defects in a later model. ... show more

The scooter feels very sturdy and strong. Assembly is easy. Take your time tightening all of the screws with the different keys. It is not a toy and a great way to get around. Sure beats pedaling :) One issue is that the seat accessory is missing. I upgraded and paid for it. Can this be resolved? Update: Seat came in another box. Thank you. Love this machine! ... show more

This is no kids toy, this is made for a full adult, even have large size (6’1” 254lbs) -Quickness is there but top speed is more like ~33-36mph but any faster might be a safety issue so I am 100% ok with this. -Does great on road and as well as off road as well even in Gravel or dirt roads. - mine was missing a seat but Amazon took care of me, possibly different model numbers? ... show more

I'm a big fan of riding on trails and bike paths and I bought this scooter specifically for that. I will say this is a great scooter for novices and pros alike. The value per dollar is worth it to me. This scooter does 4 things very well: -Top speed: Was able to get 41 mph on a straight road, at one bar of battery I could still reach 33 to 34 max speed on speed mode 3 -Range: Alternating between speed mode 3 and 2 with an average speed of 25-30 miles an hour, I was able to get just over 32 miles of range. I'm 5'7 and 175lb. The more weight the less range you'll get. -Low voltage sag: This is when you accelerate and the battery goes way down until you let go. The scooter only went down 1 bar on max throttle and then came back up -Clear battery indicator: 10 bars of battery indicator as opposed to other scooters I've owned that come with 4 or 5 bars Cons: -Handlebar is not height adjustable, again I'm 5'7 and it's perfect for me. I'd assume it'd be fine all the way up to 6ft. -Tires are not split rim, so when it comes to change them you will have to disassemble most of the scooter -Battery is not easily removable like some other scooters. You'll have to unscrew about 10 screws to get to it -Front headlight sucks. It's not very bright at night and should be upgraded if you buy this scooter -Riding on wet ground continuously will soak you in the front the way the tire spits up water at you -Battery takes like 12 hrs to charge from to dead to 100% I know I put 5 stars for a lot of cons, but most of the cons are more personal preference or "luxury" to me. Personally I wanted fast, cheap, range, and solid battery readout and this scooter checks all the boxes. The rest I can do without ... show more
