The next set we bought I hated them from the start one of those well known brands you think are great… we could barely cut prime steak with them. Our butter knives were better. When we were getting our kitchen re done. I was like I’m getting a new knife set. Saw these and was like oooo I like the look of these. It looks sleek and modern, has lots of different knives for different uses, I love the built in sharpener, the knives are very sharp and have a lighter-weight feel than my previous Chicago Cutlery set but not flimsy. I don’t like how the bright white logo: ASTERCOOK, is placed in the middle on the front of the block. It looks cheesy and makes it look cheap. I try to hide it by putting salt and pepper shakers in front of it. I would still recommend it though. ... show more
