Did you see where my ball went?! Yeah, I bombed that sucker! Is what I said multiple times after using this. Does this prevent slicing? No. It does however, help it. I'm a huge slicer. Being my second season of golf, it's to be expected. I've tried gripping my driver to my face being closed, I still find myself opening it mid swing to get that slice to the right. After putting this compound on my driver, there is a couple differences of improvement noted. 1: A definite addition to distance. I can not tell you the exact numbers because I don't pay attention to that enough, but I will tell you at least 40 yards. This may be because I'm getting better at driving with a mixture of this compound. It may not be that I'm getting better and it is the compound. You can be your own judge in that matter. 2: It helps slicing, it's not a cure. I will say out of 16 driver used holes at my home league course, 9 were hit straighter. I still had a slice. It wasn't as bad as I usually do. The remaining 7.. Yeah, it had the normal hand to the ear and listen for broken windows, siding, or roof slaps. They were all center hits. I checked my face after each hit. I had to reapply after 9 holes each time. The slices were mixed. So it was not the lack of compound. All in all, this product definitely helps. I look forward to using it in my weekly non league 18 to better train myself until I don't need it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Just received this in the mail today and went to the course immediately to test it after reading all of the positive reviews. Let me tell you - this DID NOT disappoint and I cannot wait to use it with my weekend golf buddies (hopefully with a lot of money on the line). I play an old set of Ben hogan blades which are very unforgiving, in addition to a G430 driver/Sim2 3wood, both of which still fall victim to my old swing (hard slice to the sky that panda in the woods) at least several times per round. Through 18 holes, I only missed 1 fairway due to aiming left, gained an average of 30+ yards of distance, and had a fantastic lie off the tee box. drive the green on a 330 yard par 4, landed within 4ft on two par 3’s, and overall, I ended up shooting 2 over par as a 10 handicap. I only use Callaway Mavrik Hybrids. A very thin coating of the Slic Stick on the face of my Mavrik Hybrids eliminates all slicing. Well worth the money and lasts forever.

This reduces the spin and drastically reduces your slice. You might see a slight loss in distance but you’ll definitely hit more fairways if you’re a slicer!
