The electric scooter has garnered positive feedback for its robust build and impressive performance, capable of comfortably supporting rides on various terrains while offering multiple speed modes for different experiences. Notable features include its front and rear shock suspension for a smoother ride, pneumatic tires enhancing comfort, and a User-friendly automatic headlight system. However, its hefty weight and the need for modifications (particularly for users planning to utilize the seat) present some challenges.

  • 🚀 Multiple speed modes (ECO, MID, HIGH) to suit various riding preferences and conditions
  • 🌟 Front and rear shock suspension for a smooth ride over pebbles and gravel
  • 🔋 Decent battery life, offering around 19 miles on a full charge

  • 🔧 Potential need for frequent checks on screws and adjustments to prevent loosening

Should I Buy It?

If you're in the market for a durable, performance-oriented electric scooter and don't mind its significant weight or the potential need for minor modifications, this scooter comes highly recommended. Its pros substantially outweigh the cons, especially for those looking for a reliable mode of transportation on various terrains. However, consider the maintenance and possible adjustments you might need to make to ensure the best experience.

  • Great Scooter and Customer Support
This my first ever electric scooter, so I can't make any comparison, except to provide my personal take. It is a really robust and well built scooter. It's similar, if not identical, to the Bogist C1 Pro scooter that's sold in the UK, Europe and Canada. Although the handle bars fold down to make the scooter more compact, just realize that it would still be a challenge toting it around for any lengthy amount of time, since it weighs around 50lbs. I suppose you can just walk/roll the scooter around if needed and if the terrain / environment allows. However, when the scooter is folded, it does makes it easier to lift and stow into your vehicle or lug it up and down stairs. My first ride on a fully charged battery, was about 10 miles on relatively flat suburban sidewalks, streets and school grounds. I initially had it on ECO mode, since I've never rode any type of scooter before, but towards the end, I bumped it up to MID. The riding modes basically limit the speed of the scooter. In ECO mode, I believe it limits your speed to around 10 mph or so, and MID to around 20 mph, and HIGH to its max speed. I haven't actually maxed out the speed yet, but have gotten around 20 mph, according to the built in speedometer. I do love the front and rear shock suspension and that seems to make the ride more comfortable and not let you feel every pebble and piece of gravel on the road. I do also prefer the pneumatic tires, rather than having a solid rubber tire and I believe that adds more to your riding comfort. The headlights can't be manually turned on, as it is controlled by a light sensor. When it gets dark, the headlights turn on automatically and turns off when the scooter senses enough ambient light. I would rather have a manual switch to control the lights, but it's no big deal. The riding deck is fairly decent. IMO, wide and long enough for your both your feet. I can comfortably place my feet side by side, with a little overhang on either side, but I prefer one foot in front of the other, with the rear foot primarily on the balls of my feet with my rear heel elevated to allow the rear fender to go up and down for the suspension travel. Your not supposed to rest your foot on the rear fender. Too bad there's no built-in rear foot rest, but I think I'm going build my own foot rest bracket and bolt it down using the retaining screws on the rear of the deck, that would normally be used to bolt down the seat. The cruise control was tricky to figure out, since the manual doesn't explain its usage that well. To activate the cruise control, you have to max out the thumbwheel accelerator, while turning on the scooter. You should see cruise control icon on the display when the power completes initialization. Then, to set the cruise control, use the accelerator to go to whatever speed you want to go AND stay at that speed for a few seconds, maybe 3-5 seconds, then you can let go of the thumbwheel accelerator, and it will maintain that speed! It's a nifty feature, which prevents your thumb from tiring during long steady stretches of riding. And to disable the cruise control, simply press the break or bump the throttle (thumbwheel accelerator). On my 2nd trip with the scooter, I took it to an RV park, which had paved roadways with small rolling hills around the area and walking paths. I was riding it in HIGH mode and went as fast as around 23 mph. I still could go faster, but haven't built up my confidence level yet. I actually took it off road onto a pine needle laden hiking trail. It did haul my 175lb body weight up and down the trail at around 10 mph with no problem. I rode around the RV park and to a nearby boat ramp using the street access. Going up and down hills does drain the battery faster and you start to lose "juice" / power, when going up hills, when the battery starts to go empty. The odometer says I got another 9 miles, for a total of 19 miles on one full charge. I'm not sure how accurate the odometer is, but I traced out my 1st riding path on google maps, and I went around at least 9mi, and my odometer read 10 miles. I'll have to do more testing to determine the odometers accuracy. The last subject I'd like to discuss, is the customer service. I've had a few questions and concerns regarding my scooter, and I would like to surprisingly admit, that my customer service experience was outstanding. I wasn't and didn't expect that. The seller kept open a good communication channel between me, via Amazon. I had a response the next day and they were very friendly and accommodating. I don't think it's realistic to expect an instant response each time, which is alright with me. The key for me, was that they did actually respond and was professional about it. Overall, for a 500W scooter, I'm very impressed for both the quality and performance of the scooter, and the customer service I received. My plan for this scooter is to ride it back and forth to my local gym to save me some gas money and to enjoy the my local neighborhood even more. It's also fun taking it along on camp trips. Again, this is from my personal experience, but I would highly recommend this particular scooter and seller. ... show more

  • So close to 5 stars! After investing another $250 it's close to perfect!
The media could not be loaded. I'm handicapped and can only walk short distances. I bought this as a way for me to get out of the house more often and it's working. However, if you plan to use the seat, you'll need to make several changes/modifications for safety. I've also listed some other concerns that you might consider addressing: 1 - The OEM seatpost rocks forward and back violently. Go to your local tac store and buy a few inches of 1/4" heavy-duty foam rubber (used to line the floor of horse pens). Cut it to size, release the seat forward and wedge the foam rubber into the gap below the front seat hinge pin. It's going to be a tight fit. Put the rear of the seat down and tighten the base as much as possible. This will remove 90% of the scary rocking. Then email the seller/manufacturer asking them to make an alternate permanently attached seat post! I did! 2- The OEM seatpost, seat, and plastic shim are junk. Take them off and throw them away. Check out Cane Creek ST27286 27.2mm to 28.6mm aluminum shim. The seat is an X-Wing comfort bike seat. The suspension post is by Suntour. I'd recommend the 400mm post and be sure to check the weight ratings and buy spring and order the one appropriate for your weight. I'm 220# and had to change springs. 3 - Check the rear brake disk to see if it's deflecting too much when used. Adjust as required. 4 - This scooter easily goes 25mph with a 220# rider and has gotten up to 31 mph max. At these speeds you really need to know what's behind you. The Briskmore mirrors look goofy but I feel a lot safer. 5 - The speedometer that comes with the scooter is way low. Grab a cheap MEILAN GPS speedometer. As a bonus, it will also tell you the cumulative miles ridden. I'm just below 100 miles! 6 - Keep an eye on all the screws. Particularly the ones that secure the seat plate to the scooter and the screws that secure the grips. I've found them all loose at 25 mile intervals. 7 - Fill the tires with Green Slime puncture goop. You don't want to get stranded. 8 - The scooter ships with a phone holder but my Galaxy phone didn't fit. The Lamicall phone holder works much better for me. 9 - Wear a helmet! Maybe even a motorcycle style helmet. If your head hits concrete at 30mph it's going to be bad. If the seller decides to provide a fixed seat post (where the base is welded to the plate and doesn't fold) I'll come back and give this a 5 start rating. ... show more
