With so many terrible reviews I went with my gut and gave it a whirl. It took me over 3 hours to figure out how to get these cameras to connect because the directions aren’t helpful at all. I did some research and found that the cameras will run interference with each other as well as the parent unit. Keep the parent unit off and set up the cameras in completely different rooms and had absolutely no issues. I think this is where all the bad reviews came from. I’ve been using for a week and have one 1 SMALL issue with these camera and it’s the few second lag but that’s almost all monitors these days. Will update in a few months.     • TRULY THE WORST CAMERA EVER - SAVE YOUR MONEY!

This is by far the worst purchase I made before having my baby. The charging cords for both the monitor and the camera and very flimsy and both bent when simply just trying to plug them in. The connection always goes out (even after having our wifi looked at and upgraded to higher/faster speed), the battery life on the camera is total crap (if your power goes out, it will be dead within minutes, mark my words), and the picture quality is absolutely terrible. The "features" on the device are ridiculous. If you want to increase or decrease the brightness, it will crash at least 10 times until you can select the setting to do so. The camera is also heavy, so forget trying to mount it anywhere. The company will not assist you and will only place the blame on you for "damaging" the product when in reality it's just extremely cheaply made and poor quality. Just buy a better monitor. For $180, this was an absolute waste of money and a $30 monitor I have as a backup works better, imagine that. ... show more

We were using a security camera as a baby monitor before switching to this monitor and I’m so glad we made the switch! This monitor has so many great features! I love that you can move the camera by touching the screen. The lights on the side of the monitor screen show volume of the noise and are super helpful when we don’t want to listen to the noise of the sound machine in the baby’s room. The Hubble grip is so awesome for mounting the camera. I have not connected the camera to the Wi-Fi to get the app on my phone but I don’t even need to. The monitor is great!     • Quit working after 13 months

First off, when this was working, it was great. Until it wasn’t. The 2 camera set up was working good until 13 months of use. After 14 months the second camera quit working. Turns out it is a connection issue and they aren’t connecting to the monitor. Of course, they only have a 12 month warranty. I argued and fought with Hubble and the most they would do for me is sell me camera’s at $99 each, or 25% off a whole new unit. When I bought this is was $330, that’s quite a premium price for a low quality QC. At least when you buy a $70 set, you already expect for something like this to happen. ... show more

    • Monitor battery does not work

The monitor battery does not work unless it is plugged in 100% of the time. As soon as it is unplugged it begins beeping and then shuts off. The sound machine function plays on a short loop and has pauses in-between repeating, which was disruptive and would wake my baby up. The touch screen function isn't necessary and I would actually prefer actual buttons over the touchscreen. ... show more

The camera had trouble connecting to the wifi, it wasn't saving the videos and the thermometer was way off. The customer service is the worse!! No telephone and they don't answer emails.

    • A Really Decent Monitor With A Lot of Great Features

We’ve had this monitor for a few weeks now and we like it a lot! It is jam-packed with features, almost to the point of some of them being unnecessary, and I haven’t even tried them all yet. The picture and audio are very good quality and I like that the field of view is nice and wide. I thought the addition of the bumper was smart for those with hard floors (our last monitor’s parent unit broke after being dropped too many times). The included mount was pretty easy to use as well. The UI and touchscreen could use a little bit of improvement, but I think the issue is more that it isn’t intuitive, rather than not being responsive. My very tech-savvy husband hated the touchscreen until I showed him specific things like how you have to swipe down just on the menu to get out of the menu or you swipe, not tap, on the arrow to go to the next page of the menu. Once he figured those few things out, his opinion changed for the better. I think if it was more intuitive, that would bump the rating to 5 stars. The included games are cute and my 4 year old likes them even though they aren’t much use for my baby. They are a little buggy but that’s not the main point of the monitor so it doesn’t really bother me. I haven’t been able to pair the monitor with my phone yet but that was my fault for downloading the wrong app. I think once I can get it paired, the WiFi connection will be useful for when we leave he kids with a sitter. I’m otherwise hesitant to have the monitor on WiFi so I like the addition of the privacy screen as well. Overall, This monitor exceeded my expectations, especially after reading the other reviews. We will continue to use it as our main monitor and I look forward to exploring all the other features! ... show more

I am very impressed with the quality of this video monitor. Set-up was extremely fast and painless - it took about three minutes from opening the box to getting the video to display on the monitor. I especially love the feature where you can swipe the monitor to move the camera around remotely, so even if your camera placement isn’t perfect you can adjust it in real time.
