I had a hard time finding a monitor that gave the option of a parent unit AND mobile access. Thats what led me to this baby monitor. The camera works well and has night vision so you’ve got a clear picture in the dark. It tracks temperature as well which I really like. You can talk through the camera and play music too. There’s a ton of settings on the parent unit to customize it to your liking. The connection can be spotty if you’re very far away or have unreliable WiFi, but 99% of the time I’ve had no issues with that.     • Like buying a new car without an engine😐
The best thing about this camera is the picture quality it produces on the monitor. But none of that matters if it’s functionality is complete garbage. 1. Didn’t take me longer than 1 hour after it being delivered and messing around with it to realize the battery lasts a whole 2 seconds before it starts dying. 2. The app you can pair it with isn’t supported whatsoever. On my own phone the camera wouldn’t pull up in app when it required me to scan a QR code. Downloaded it on my wife’s phone and it somehow worked on hers. 3. Was starting to maybe give this baby monitor a chance, but of course this product just kept letting me down. Once I was able to scan the QR code and set up my WiFi and Bluetooth, it wouldn’t connect at all. It would give me a “no camera found” error. Splitting my WiFi into different bands didn’t work either since it specified it only connected to a 2.4 WiFi connection. This monitor initially grabs your attention with its great picture quality and monitor display but none of that matters when you can’t get it to function for what you pay for. The battery life on this thing is impressive. If you set it to go dark when baby isn’t moving, the battery will last all night without needing charged. The only thing I’m upset about is that the second one I ordered said “open box - like new” but it was not like new. It looks slightly used and one of the chargers was not the correct charger at all. It was definitely misleading which was disappointing. Amazon is usually great about reflecting the condition of lower priced items that were returned, but they dropped the ball this time. The new one I purchased is great though. The video quality is incredible, it’s like being in the room with them. We have a large house and I never lose signal going from one end to the other, so the range is great too. The size of the camera is nice too, it can pan around the whole room without missing any spots and the monitor is big as well. ... show more

I wanted to wait a few months to use this before writing a review. So far this baby monitor has worked well. There has been a few frustrations but for the most part it works as intended. The good: -Large screen -Clear picture -Good sound -Camera is able to move around and zoom in/out -I like that it has a dimming mode. After so much time the screen will dim so it’s not so bright in your face all night. The bad: -We have had several instances where the monitor just doesn’t work. It says it’s not connected to the camera. Sometimes we have to unplug the camera just to get the monitor to work again. It was happening quite often in the beginning. So much so that my husband wanted to return it. Practically every time we tried turning it on it wouldn’t work at first. We always had to wait 5-10 minutes, turn the monitor off and on a few times or just unplug the camera in order for the screen to come up. But recently we haven’t had any more issues. I began to realize if I tried turning the monitor on while it was plugged up it seemed to cause issues. If I take it off the wall plug in and then turn it on it doesn’t have any issues. Not sure why that is. But just be aware. Other reviews mention this problem as well. -The battery sucks. There’s no kind way to put it. The monitor will barely last 2 hours. Even if you have it turned off. Once you take it off the wall plug-in don’t expect it to last long. Even if it’s turned off all the way the battery still drains. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to bragging this up. It has dual wifi or antenna capabilities. The antenna can reach all the way to my neighbors house more than 100 ft away. The ability to play music has helped my little one. Something worth mentioning is that my daughter's sound machine is directly next to the camera/mic and it picks up the sound machine and tunes the audio of the machine down so that I can actually hear any peep from my daughter. Basically like a background noise cancelling thing. The ability to move the camera around and zoom in and out remotely is awesome. I can rotate it to either be on the crib or view the entire 10x10 room in one shot. Been using it for over a year and the battery portable charge lasts almost all day if left unplugged and on. Bonus if you don't want to actually install it on the wall.. I was able to use a spring clamp on the camera and clamp it to a piece of furniture because the camera has a mounting area that has enough space for that. ... show more
