We have used this baby monitor for over 4 months and have been very happy with it. The screen resolution is good enough to see what is going on with the baby, but having it work with our phones at 1080p is really nice. Temperature gage seems to be pretty accurate and wifi connection is very handy. I can be outside doing yardwork while baby sleeps and monitor him on my phone. Occasionally, it disconnects, but it reconnects very quickly. Only downsides are the microphone doesn't really work, but we didn't buy it for that. The battery life is also garbage, but we just keep it plugged in, so that isn't a problem. Highly recommend if you are looking for solid monitor at a decent price without all the bells and whistles. ... show more

    • A great monitor!!!
I had a hard time finding a monitor that gave the option of a parent unit AND mobile access. Thats what led me to this baby monitor. The camera works well and has night vision so you’ve got a clear picture in the dark. It tracks temperature as well which I really like. You can talk through the camera and play music too. There’s a ton of settings on the parent unit to customize it to your liking. The connection can be spotty if you’re very far away or have unreliable WiFi, but 99% of the time I’ve had no issues with that.     • Good Monitor for a price
I was a little sceptical buying a camera with monitor and wifi, I thought it’s usually either or,but this camera is pretty nice for a price and good picture quality & rotation view.I usually use it for day time to watch my baby while I am in another room,so for day camera is recommended, and I use ir without cry detection.I used cry detection feature a few times and it beeps about 3 seconds(I could probably see different setting), but we have second camera different brand that is used on baby’s crib at night, which beeps for 10 seconds minimum and pretty sensitive,so I like other camera better for cry detection at night.I love wifi feature and app Is pretty easy, you can also rotate the camera at app, which is cool.What I don’t like that is takes some time to turn on/off and when it looses signal,it starts beeping. ... show more

    • I do NOT like this baby monitor!!!
This monitor has a lot of issues. First of all I tried to set it up to my wifi and it worked, however it made the screen so pixelated I couldn't even see my baby's face. So I had to take off the wifi and just use it the normal way. Then once using it I realized there is a delay, so every time baby cries I hear the cry in real time and a second later hear the cry again on the monitor which is very annoying!!! So it's no bad enough to have a baby screaming at 3am, but now we hear it twice! The monitor also randomly shuts off for no reason saying it's out of range. I did a test and counted how many steps it was from my room to my baby's room, and it was 21 steps so about 21 feet. I don't know how it could ever be out of range. Once it's out of range I have to go into the baby's room like 3 feet away to restart the thing for it to connect. It is dangerous for this to happen as often as it dose, the only saving grace is that it beeps when it happens, but I still have to get out of bed and risk waking the baby just to restart it in his room. I also had an issue one night with the temperature off by 10 degrees! I have a independent room thermometer in the room to double check, and it was a full 10 degrees difference. The monitor said it was 60 degrees when it was really 70 which is a big difference. I am considering buying a different one even though I spent a lot on this because it just isn't good.     • My sleep training companion !
I didn't think I would need to buy a baby monitor since we live in an apartment and can hear our kids easily. However, this became an urgent purchase during sleep training - another thing I didn't expect to do but here I was, after 4 months of sleep regression, in dire need for an improvement. This device was a savior ! The setup is easy, image quality is really good. We typically don't use the motion or sound detection but we've enabled them temporarily to test and they work (but it results in a lot of notifications in the app). This is really a useful accessory to understanding baby sleep habits : it helped us see that no sound coming from the bedroom did not mean baby was asleep. We've also found it useful when traveling to places where the sleeping space is farther and you would not necessarily hear your baby cry. The negative points for us: - the wifi key you can enter is short and our wifi password is very long because it's more secure. That was almost a deal breaker, as wifi connection is required to use the phone features and for better connectivity. We found a solution thankfully, without changing our wifi password because that was a no-go for us. - reaching out to customer service about the above point, was a very disappointing experience: long delay, useless answer - as mentioned by others, battery life of the monitor is somewhat short. Phone app complements it though, if the monitor is charging far from you. - cannot adjust the volume of music and white noise sounds that the camera can make. We typically use Alexa for it but when travelling it's nice to have the sounds without an extra device - however the volume is low. I would recommend this reasonably priced device - and we also got a compatible floor stand holder which allows to position it well in our bedroom. I would not put it on the crib rail even if it's a proposed option. ... show more
