I bought the hello baby one first with the two cameras and it just felt cheap and I didn't like it at all from the picture quality to the layout/functions. So I went back to vtech (our first single camera one was vtech and just thought I would try something else) LOVE: the bigger screen! Picture quality! Nighttime mode quality is great! Camera movement! Ease of flipping between cameras! And we have had zero connection issues! And I like that you can download the app and view from your phone as well! WISHES: the kick stand on the back does seem flimsy where I wish it had the kick stand from the single camera model we have. And then when you're in split screen mode it only does sound for the screen that you're highlighted on. It has the panning mode which is why we got it. But I wish it did that with sound in the split screen mode. But we'll live. I don't use the music or talking functions regularly but they work! ... show more

This is an amazing budget video monitor! My regular monitor is the Eufy, which I love, but I needed a travel monitor for when we go on vacation. At $50, this was the perfect price. And even though the Eufy cost 3x more, this monitor has some better features! I highly recommend this one. Pros: You can leave the sound on, and turn the screen off! By pressing any button, the screen comes back to life. This is how I have it set for overnight. The parent unit plugs in with a round plug/cable (not a USB, which requires flipping it the right way). The parent unit is a great size and very tough. You don't feel like you need to baby it. It has a little kick stand that is very sturdy! I don't use it, but it does have a VOX feature. I don't use it, but it does have a two-baby units feature. Cons: The "dim" setting is very bright. The quietest/lowest sound setting is very loud. We bought this monitor set after friends of ours told us it was the best one they have had. Boy did we have the opposite experience. Ours NEVER, and I mean NEVER stays connected to our children’s monitors in their rooms. It worked okay for the first few months but has gotten worse and worse over time. Every night one or the other (and sometimes both) disconnects and we’re forced to find ways to get it back reconnected in the middle of the night causing us to lose sleep and deal with it. The product says range of 1000 feet but we can’t get it to connect from one foot away some days. Our sons room is directly above ours and is disconnects more than the other with maybe 12-15 feet of distance from viewing screen to monitor. We’ve tried WiFi and direct connection and nothing. I’ve emailed and contacted Vtech countless times to NOT ONCE be responded to. I couldn’t be more disappointed in the lack of response/service from Vtech ahead of how poor the unit actually works. Oh and then out of the blue one day, the kickstand on the back just decided to disintegrate off the back so now it doesn’t even stand up. What a nightmare of a purchase. Will not be purchasing anything from Vtech for our family or a gift ever again. ... show more

It work perfectly. The image is super clear and crisp and the 7 inch screen is just perfect not like other 5 inch that you can't see any details. Just once had a issue with the connection that was resolve, after that zero problem. The only downside of this equipment is that is very fragile, I don't think it will survive one fall. I waited to review this baby monitor until I was able to use it for an extended period of time. Overall I really like this monitor. The screen is big and bright. We got the two camera system which makes traveling a breeze. One we keep connected and set up at home and the other is our travel camera. I like that you have the option to connect to secure Wi-Fi or connect directly to one another if you don’t have the option for Wi-Fi. I would say 90% of the time we have no issues and have a clear screen. The other 10% random times the screen will go glitchy or randomly drop connection. This may be due to location and how many walls are in between the camera and monitor. It could also be a Wi-Fi connectivity issue. Again it doesn’t happen often but when it does, it’s a little frustrating. As for battery life, we can use the monitor unplugged all day for naps but do have to plug it in overnight because the battery doesn’t last that long. Being able to turn off the LCD screen is nice and does save some battery for you. Overall a really good camera and monitor. ... show more

Third baby and my angel care monitor stopped functioning. I had ordered a direct from the company v tech monitor that had a huge screen but never stayed connected to the cameras. This monitor is great, good picture quality the sound is great on it. The camera itself was easy to assemble and place and setting it up was a breeze. I will say the downside to this monitor is the size of the screen, it is small. The "stand" that it is supposed to sit upright with is just a bump out from the monitor and does not work well. What matters is that it's a video monitor and it's sound is clear and it's picture is clear. For the price it's worth it. ... show more

This is a quality camera set for babies. We use ours for our live-in elderly man with Alzheimer's. We had been using ours 24/7 all year, but I wouldn't suggest using it 24/7. We have noticed the battery life is very short if you constantly use it like we did. I'm sure it works great for part-time use for babies.
