We have replaced this scooter 3 times the first time would not turn on at all the second one the throttle was broken. Finally we got one that we could ride the throttle broke after the first day. My husband fixed it then the next day we rod it just stopped working and my husband said he looked at it and thinks there is a wire off of it down by the motor. He has not had a chance to fix it again yet but I wouldn’t waste your money. ... show more

Wish I could leave a 0 stars... I bought 2 of these scooters... Once they finally arrived on 1 of them the battery was fried...would not charge nothing... I get with amazon... They say manufacturer doesn't allow replacement parts... The other worked less than 1 day and a tire just blew out and tore up... The pressure was correct I did it myself...I now have 0 working usable scooters I've had for 2 days now...$400.00 down the drain... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT MADE BY THEM...you will just get screwed out of your money.. Stupidity run amok! ... show more

Bought one, it was great! So we bought another for christmas.... I'm not sure what happened, But when we got the second one, the battery didn't work. We tried to reach out to amazon directly for just a replacement battery. We were told it would be sent out. After the fact we found out through another representative replacement parts arent available and unsure why I was told that. I was then told to reach out to hover one directly. They were no help and said to return it to amazon. So we asked to replace it. They sent us another. Round 2, it works so we take it for a run. The whole throttle assembly falls apart. So we have to push it back. Now I have two scooters in my living room needing to be replaced. They finally pick one up with a successful return. So we wait for the other to be picked up. After weeks i reached out to amazon again and they say no replacements are available and they arrange a pick up for the one forgotten. After getting off the phone i get a notification a fourth unit has been sent out. So today, round number 4, and behold it is the 4th scooter we have received that doesnt not work or is broke. So we still only have one (the 1st) working scooter. And are now sending multiple back. ... show more

Bought one for Christmas and then it was sale again so I bought another. 15-18mph with 220lb rider. Goes about 10 miles on fastest setting. I'm sure 18miles range is possible on slower settings. And yes the tires hold air just like any other inflatable tire.....

This is a day 1 review. And I wanna preface this by saying in -my- condition, it was a good idea to buy. But I'm paying this off over 5 months, which is not an option for me, buying virtually any other scooter. Pros. Good battery life. Decent speed for its price. MUCH better Hover-1 scooter than a Pioneer/Journey which was my last. Temperature warning. My Journey just shut off with no warning. I drove it 10 miles, without even charging it, with 0 warnings. (So I haven't driven it a full battery charge yet) Journey, I got 6 and decided to undo the thermal protection which led to the controller crapping out. I don't feel the need to with this scooter. Cons. I have no idea if this is a bug or a feature but my scooter seems to softlock facing straight. Like, it takes some actual force to turn the handlebar side to side, and it clicks to center. Not enough of a bother for me to care. No cruise control, as Turboant has as well as the cheaper and older Journey and Pioneer. For whatever reason, whoever's in charge of... Something... Has a pudding brain because the locking mechanism that holds the scooter upright and keeps it from unlatching is made of PLASTIC. This means if you aren't putting an amount of forward tension on your handlebars and you hit a pothole, there's a chance of this ring breaking and your handlebar just... Collapsing. Your scooter folding up. Very bad design. If the scooter continues working, it'll serve it's purpose for ME, but Jesus H Christ, if you can afford it, go elsewhere. Updated review. I only weigh 170 and owned a Hover 1 m365 clone... This Blackhawk buckles under its own power until the motor is warmed up. Update 2. I've had the scooter for 2 weeks, and the motor buckles under its own power even on speed 2. The one I got is garbage. ... show more
