Been saving for this . Got it on sale $100 off . It is pricey but if you want an easy to use powerful cord free vacuum this is the one . Batter life is an hour. Large dust bin and easy to empty !! This thing has some serious power, it does an incredible job on both tile floor AND carpets.. we have dogs so it’s especially needed for the carpet. The laser on the fluffy head is incredible and shows so much more than you would normally see without, makes vacuuming more enjoyable. The battery life is really good, obviously it won’t last long on boost mode but overall, we can vacuum our whole house comfortably, including carpets, with a single charge and have some left over which is great. I’ve only had it a week now but so far this is the best portable vacuum I’ve had, so while it is expensive I think it’s well worth it. ... show more

THE LIGHT ON THE FRONT OF THE VACUUM REALLY HELPS YOU SEE ALL THE DUST ONT HE FLOOR. THE RUG ATTACHMENT IS VERY POWERFUL. Easy to assemble, which is very minimal. This model is far better than my other Dyson vacuum. I would purchase his gain on a heart beat!

I've never had a vacuum like this before! OMG! I can't stop using it. It is very lightweight which is good for my old arms so they don't tire out, but is extremely powerful at picking up dirt and hair. I love my robot floor vacuum, but this Dyson is so lightweight and extremely fast that I'm going to put the robot one on another level of the house and use the Dyson for the main level. The Dyson does the main level in about 15 min, whereas the robot would take a long time to complete and would get stuck on something occasionally. I love that the Dyson has a light so that you can see all the dust on your floors. I never realized just how much dirt was on my floors until it showed me. The carpet attachment is superb. I always thought the robot vacuum got everything off my rugs, but I was very wrong. I ran the Dyson across my area rugs for the first time and was shocked that the dirt bin was completely full (and that was after I had run the robot the day before!) You won't regret buying this vacuum. So far so good and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I hope it stays that way. This review is given freely and I received no compensation at all.     • They won't provide parts once it's a couple years old, they want you to buy a new one.
I have a VS22 that's just a few months out of warranty and after troubleshooting with a customer service agent, determined that it needs a new main body. Unfortunately, there are no main bodys for this machine available, no indication of when they'll be available, and for three weeks now the dust builds up on my floor. I have a $700 vacuum that after only two years is dead and unrepairable. The service agent was happy to offer me 20% off a new unit, or to push me off to a local repair shop. I find this frustrating, knowing that even if the exact model detect main body isn't on a shelf somewhere, a newer detect main body that is perfectly compatible with the battery and all the parts must be- since I can apparently buy one in a new unit. In truth, who would expect a company to continue manufacturing old models- new models are subsequently manufactured with some degree of backward compatibility. That seems to be the case (new models are technically backwards compatible), but that is beneficial only to manufacturing and not extended to the benefit of post-purchase servicability. We love this Dyson vacuum, it worked so well up until it died. I expected that by paying a premium for a quality fantastically designed machine it would have support to go with it. The lack of product support, and what appears to be a business model of non-servicable (disposable) vacuums (when it breaks, buy a new one) is disappointing. And for a company calling itself one that embraces sustainability, forcing me to buy a new pile of plastic parts, attachments and battery when simply a single part (the main body) would do, is contradictory to that claim. I wrote because the service agent suggested this could help. If there is a way I can purchase only what I need to get the vacuum working, that'd be great. I don't need all the other parts, and I don't want to spend $700 for another two years of vacuuming bliss- if that's the limit of reliability for this machine. ... show more

My first impressions are that this vacuum is the cat’s meow, the bee’s knees and the gnat’s knuckles. It is one working machine. Wow. Lots of metaphors and cliches. Okay. It sucks, big time. In fact on some carpet it needs to be calmed down or it won’t move. There is a button to reduce suction. Actually there is only one button, so read the manual to understand how this one button does it all. My first vacuuming sucked up stuff that has been buried since the Truman administration. Pretty nifty. It’s light and easy to move. There-is-no-cord. Yay. That’s why I got it. I hate that vacuum cord annoyance. The battery really will go for an hour. The junk container is smallish, but it’s easy as can be to empty. Cleaning the whole thing is easy too. It’s as noisy as a corded vacuum. Is that bad? Vacuuming is a noisy chore. So. After four vacuuming chores I rate this very high. If it keeps up this performance, I’ll give it a fifth star. ... show more

What I liked best is it’s easy to use and when vacuuming a hard floor wood based, the floor part shows u where the dirt left behind is! Plus anyone with longer hair, it will break it up so it doesn’t stick in the vacuum. Best cleaner I ever had! More like a toy and not like u r working👍
