We purchased 2, one for our son and one for our daughter (4 and 7) and within 7 days our sons was snapped in the middle. He weighs about 60 LBS and had only used it on our wooden floors, I am assuming it was some kind of defect because it seems to be a solid hover board, but there’s no reason a 60 pound child should have been able to snap the middle. Thankfully, It was less than 30 days old, so I was able to return it without an issue that I did not put the protection plan on it. I ordered the Hover-1 Titan following the return of this model and will do a review after he uses it. I will say I didn’t have any issues with the return, it was seamless and the funds were available on my account after it was dropped off at UPS which really helped and was the reason I decided to purchase another Hover-1 model. I do recommend purchasing this brand & model, it is built well and very solid which is again why I believe we received a defective unit. I hope this review helps :) ... show more

The screws in the wheels keep backing out and locks up the wheel which could be a safety issue. We have tried to contact the seller and a representative was supposed to get back to me, but now I cannot reach anyone by phone. Hover board is a safety issue and service is terrible. Don't waste your money. We purchased on Sept. 28 and the return date had expired about 5 days when we realized it was defective. ... show more

Let me start off by saying this thing is awesome. The lights; the wheels that are hypnotizing, it’s truly a badass hoverboard.. HOWEVER; it is fully charged and will randomly TURN OFF while in use and make your kids go flying to the ground. Total safety issue. The only way it will turn back on is if you plug it back in and then turn it on, which then shows it’s fully charged and then you repeat the process over and over again. It turns off incessantly. This is a HUGE defect for a hoverboard in this price range. I’ve had jetsons that have lasted years and are half the price. Mine also came cracked and bent in the middle when you put weight on it. It’s almost like it’s missing screws to hold it together but I don’t see anything cosmetically that would cause it to separate that way. ... show more

This is my son’s third hover board. He was disappointed because it was a basic color black but when he started to ride it he light just as much as the board did. He verbally said woh! I love it!! Look at all the colors! I hope this one last longer than 3 months unlike the other two
