It’s a great chair for children but not really for full sized adults. I was hoping to use it as an office chair for my desk but it’s small for me. It's gorgeous and soft fabric, but the scalloped back and the arms feel like a thick piece of very hard metal. Uncomfortable is an understatement - have to return it. Was hoping to use as office chair.

The Quality The item page says this HDHNBA "Butterfly" (Seashell) Desk Chair will hold 400 pounds. And then it says it will hold 300KG which is 600 pounds!! I think 400 pounds is more like it. This chair is small. The gas cylinder is narrow. The base legs are made of plastic. There’s NO way it will hold 600 pounds. But that point it Moot because… This Chair is SMALL!! A person who is big and tall (like me) can sit in it comfortably for a little while, but will not really want to sit in it long. Easy To Put Together The Instruction Sheet doesn’t say much, and it will help to look at it before starting, but it’s fairly easy to put it together. The Look It’s really a cute chair. Everyone here likes it. It reminds me of a Disneyland ride or something. I like the creamy white Ivory, Buff color too. It’s a perfect warm off white color. Advice If you have a chance to buy the deluxe version with the matching cushion, DON’T. The seat is small enough without being pushed out of it by a cushion. ... show more

This chair is really nice. It was very easy to assemble, took about 7 minutes. It rolls easily, doesn't feel tippy, and the lumbar pillow is comfortable. I got this for my bedroom and it looks great in there, with the pink bedspread and white "shabby chic" furniture. I'm 5'3", size 6 or 8 or Medium, 137 lbs, and the chair fits fine. However, it would not be comfortable for someone much bigger. If you are an adult man who is in touch with his feminine side, this is not the chair for you, unfortunately. This doesn’t seem like an office chair. I can’t work on it because it’s so small. I have it for guests to sit in. But it’s a really pretty chair! It’s well made and cutely designed. It came with a pillow, too. It works well.
