The product works great. The temperature control and the design are definitely very cool. There is no not much spillage as the drain is in the middle. So typically fat stays on the plate and is easy to remove when washing off. Purchased this to replace our current electric griddle, which was on its way out. This one works perfectly for what we need. It's small enough for just doing a quick breakfast. But it's also large enough that it can make a full breakfast on it. I do like the fact that it has interchangeable. Griddle plates, which allows you to use the smooth side for eggs or French toast, or even doing a quick quesadilla. The raised griddle plates. A great for getting a little grill marks on like burgers or a small steak. Extremely easy to clean up. I really like the fact that the griddle plates can be placed in dishwasher for easy clean up. However, I prefer to do mine by hand just because we use it pretty much every morning. Initially we did have some issues with it. Sticking at first, however, that's easily remedied by making sure that the grill plates are up to temperature. Before you place your food on it and also using just a little tiny bit of either non stick, spray or vegetable oil or you know all of oil. Any kind of a lubricant? And you don't need very much just tincy. Bits spread on the grill plates easily stops the sticking. Found clean up to be extremely easy. The only downside on it for cleanup I. Would say is when you take the griddle. Plates off with a drip tray? Goes, the portion of the base plate with drippings go into is extremely sharp. I've sliced my hand when I was trying to clean. That portion of it a little bit, not badly, but just something to be aware of that. It is sharp so be very cautious when you're cleaning off the drip. Trasection of the base plate other than that. It's a great little griddle, perfect for small family or just 1 or 2 people. We've done burgers on it and they came out beautifully. Done a stake on it and it came out great as well. I like the fact that when you use the raised griddle. Plates leaves those little grill marks on there. Similar to if you were doing it out on an outdoor grill. I bought this for my mother as a Christmas gift. She loves it, it cleans exceptionally well, and she uses it to cook her and my little brother breakfast every morning. It's less cliché than a blender. It looks, feels, and behaves very professionally made. Everything a good appliance gift should be: Well priced, reliable, and maintenance free. It cleans well in the dishwasher, it cleans well in the sink. She cleans it occasionally that way to sanitise it. I just went over to it and rubbed my finger across it to get a better idea for the review. I can't even tell bacon was cooked there save for the faint smell, and she only wiped it with a dry paper towel this past week. The nonstick is serious business. Being what it is, it heats a fair amount quicker than a typical stove burner. It also has the advantage of weighing a little less and being able to fit in your car. The only complaint I have had in a half year of usage is that it has no off setting. It goes down to a minimum heat, and then you unplug it. Granted, if you follow the directions, everything you buy tells you to unplug it anyways, because, of course, companies hate liability. I foolishly paid an extra few bucks for a warranty. (Totally kidding, warranties are always good to have even if you trust the manufacturer) ... show more

This is the best griddle I have ever used. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly on both sides. The grease and meat juices drains into a tray in the middle where the two cooking surfaces connect so you can cook 2 entirely different ways or flavors without them mixing. Just got it so can't attest to longevity but so far works excellent. My only suggestion for improvement would be a type of cover for each side. Its size makes it fit in my cabinet perfectly.

I really, really wanted and tried to like this product. I tried burgers, French toast and bacon in 3 attempts to use the product. I quickly learned that one side heats less hot than the other side at the same setting by almost 100 degrees based on a thermometer and the fact that the food cooked much quicker on one side. I tossed it in the dumpster this morning and would not recommend this product. Like I said nice idea but bad execution. I really wanted to like this because of the options it presented. ... show more
