I got this to use with my practice putting mat. It installed quickly and works great. I cross hand putt and found I am pretty good at lining putts up. I plan to take it to the putting green at my local golf club to see how it performs on the longer putts. It is good at seeing how consistent your stroke is. I really was looking forward to using it to improve my putting. The laser is very clear and lays down a solid red straight horizontal line for aiming. I like the fact that it came with extra set of batteries. It is light with adjustable aiming points. The problem is that the sleeve is too wide and doesn't fit my putter shaft. It slides straight down. The only way for me to use it properly is to DIY a filler inside the sleeve so that the pointer fits tightly and works properly. So this is a golf training aid laser light and I'm sure it would work great for what it's actually intended for but I don't play golf nor did I order this for that purpose. I was needing a little laser I could attach to something to have the line centered on my hallway ceiling to mark for installing recessed lights. There's not much I needed a laser light for and didn't want to spend a fortune on a laser light that would rarely be used. I saw this and saw that the end where the light is was movable so I ordered it. It arrived in perfect condition and will work great for my purpose. When I opened the box I noticed a little package of batteries the light and the instructions. I removed everything and removed the cap to install the batteries so I could test it and there were batteries already installed. So it comes with batteries and a spare set of batteries. Not sure if it said that in the description but if it did I overlooked it but not complaining it's awesome that it did. It' well made looks just the photo and simple to use. Just remove the little plastic where the batteries is and push the little white button on top and it's on. There's a little switch on the side that one way the light stays on for 10 seconds and the other it stays on and you just push the white button again to turn it off. Overall I am happy with this light and would recommend it..whether you use it for golfing or another purpose. ... show more

The item was easy to set up & the instructions were clear. The product is useable right out of the package! The laser line helped a lot! I liked the INT Mode because it helps save the laser battery life! The extra batteries are a nice little add-on! I would highly recommend this product!

As a newer golfer I’ve come to learn it’s all about the short game. In the brief time that I’ve practiced with this laser putter training aid I’m seeing my putting greatly improving.
