    • Must Buy for Every Golfer
I wanted to wait before writing this review in order to really test out the product and test its durability. It came with a travel bag and a target net to help aim for chipping. It came with a few balls, a tee, and a green turf like mat. It was easy to assemble and I started hitting balls right away. If you choose to keep up the chip target in the net, it's really loud when the ball makes contact. I took it down and used the white drop net instead. I also didn't use the turf mat it came with. I have been hitting balls off grass and dirt and the net catches most of it (not that important). But when it came time to rake some of the dead grass and dirt out, it was super easy to clean. I have hit over 2,000 balls on this net and I have yet to have a single tear. To give you some context, my 7 iron swing speed is roughly 90mph with fast ball speed. The net takes every shot well and the balls don't pop back at you. I find that using this net saves tons of $$$ from the driving range and allows you to practice your swing anytime. If you are familiar with your ball flights and distance numbers, this is perfect for concentrating on ball contact and rhythm for your swing. I highly recommend you purchase this as it's not gimmicky or cheap (which is a huge turn off). Get a bucket of balls and get swinging! ... show more

    • Can finally practice at home!
This is an easy to assemble practice net that is light weight and seems good quality in the time I've had it (a few months), we'll see how it stands up over time. The back surface has a drape which adds some additional energy absorption when the balls hit it. I needed to put this net close to a wall due to limited space but I didn't want the balls to hit the wall when the net/drape deflects. After some quick testing, I found I can set the net's back surface about 14" from a wall without fear of the wall being hit. The side walls extend out a fair amount too, but if you're prone to a really bad slice or hook you may want to hit close to the opening, at least at first, to gauge where the balls are going. The practice mat that comes with it is fine, but the rubber 'T' is really tall, so I just snipped that off a little. It has come out a couple times, but just pushes back in. The balls that come with it are just so-so, and are fine if they're all you have, but mine had some flaws, so I'd recommend using your own. Overall very happy with it and I'm hoping it lasts a long while. ... show more

Arrived quickly, took a bit to set up the first time then simple from there. Bigger than I expected. Mostly use it for driving, so far it has taken at least one hundred driver shots from point blank range and no rips or damage so far.     • Target sheet has failed in less than 90 days...

In less than 90-days (maybe 20 practice sessions), two of the straps that secure the black target 'sheet' to the tented frame have completely failed (top left, and top right). Both straps frayed and completely severed/broke. For a while, I was able to tie them to the tent frame using knots. So, top-left is "functional", but now top-right has no more ability to be tied. Too frayed. A complete fail. Now there is only the white netting to stop the ball, which it doesn't. A full swing sends ball into the white net, stretches net so ball hits whatever is behind the 'tent' (wall, steel post, whatever is back there). Don't do this in front of a regular wall in your house. If it doesn't hit any object behind it, the white net springs the ball back to me at a reduced, but uncomfortable velocity. No injuries yet, but not a good experience at all. A second concern: when the ball was hitting the black target 'sheet' as designed, it sounded like a gun was going off, especially with a higher velocity club like a driver or fairway wood. If I practice indoors, family not happy. Practice outdoors and neighbors not happy. Now a broken black target 'sheet', I'm not happy. Third concern: the method for securing the black target straps to the tent frame was not effective. Tended to release semi-regularly. It actually was kinda nice when the straps broke at first. I then tied them in a knot to their support loop on the tent frame, which resolved the issue of them coming loose. Until they completely severed. I bought this for my husband and was really excited when I got it set up and realized how great the quality of the material was! Set up was easy (I was able to do it myself) and the size was nice! Unfortunately, within the first 10 minutes that he used it, one of the straps on the target tarp broke. I’m just not sure how to avoid that unless it was just a fluke? I’m sad because it did seem like a nice practice setup! ... show more

Got this for my golf loving boyfriend for Christmas. He had it set up in the back yard before we even finished opening presents. He absolutely loves it. It is easy to set up and take down and the carrying bag makes it really easy to transport. He did say the turf plot wasn’t the most durable but he said it was still pretty good. He also hit a ball through the corner of the net and it ripped a small hole. So I wouldn’t be full sending shots but overall it is very durable. I would definitely recommend this for someone or to give as a gift. Well worth the price! ... show more

Bought this for my fiance who is always chipping around the yard. We really love that we can take full swings and not break any windows. The targets are great for aiming and make it extra fun.     • Easy setup and effective net!
It took about 10 minutes from opening the box to getting it set up and ready to hit into. Standing back about 5-6 feet, I hit about 50 balls into the net on my first practice session. I used the hitting mat instead of tearing up my backyard and found that I could use real tees using the hole for the included rubber tee for the matt. It collapses flat for storage under my deck when not in use which was exciting to see. Looking forward to hitting around 40-60 balls a day in my backyard as I live in an area where the nearest range is over 50 miles away. ... show more
