I was impressed with the quality of these flameless candles. The look, feel and "flame" are realistic when on. The tip is white when off which IMO is the only giveaway that they are not real wax candles. The teal is a exactly as pictured. Just turned them on flicker mode using the timer function so can't comment on that function yet but the remote worked great! So glad I bought these! ... show more

I just love these candles. They look so real with the flickering flame. They are a nice white color and the flame is too. I used them for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. It was on a yacht so real candles wouldn't have worked at all. They looked great and I now have them all over my house. I am using about 20 of them on my mantle for Christmas and they look amazing. The remote is super easy and one remote works on all the candles even though each set has it's own. You can set the timer for as many hours as you want them on and then they turn off. Pretty easy!!! You can also adjust the brightness with the remote. They even feel like real candles. My sister saw them and ordered them too. You can't go wrong with these candles. I originally posted a one star because the tallest candle died right outside the return window and these were too pricey to order again (I agonized on ordering Luminara, but went cheaper route by thinking I'd save on half). CS reached out to me after seeing the review and offered two great options to make it right, so I am happy. The candles themselves are beautiful. Up close the flame doesn't look like much, but at night the glow is beautiful and flame soft. They ARE made of wax so be careful to not leave them in heat/windows as they can distort. ... show more

These have a wax coating so they have the feel and look of a real candle. I used the timer on the remote and it worked well. I have used the shorter one in a Lenox Holiday candle stand that I didn’t want coated in wax. This looked very nice in my opinion. It also had a slight flicker to the flame so that was nice. It would be nice if the flames could look a little more realistic, but I’m not really sure how that. Outdoor be accomplished. But for me this is just what I wanted. ... show more

I bought the set of 4 green candles because I liked the color and the ribbed pattern. I was disappointed that they appeared dark when lit and the flame only lit up the top. There was no light effect in the body of the candle, like others I own. The flickering flame was almost imperceptible, i.e., it looked the same as the non-flickering setting. I didn't like that two of the set are "battery hogs." I have already had to replace their AA batteries. The remote on/off worked well. I don't time my candles, so I can't say how well the timer works. ... show more
