Wore these my first time snowboarding and they were a LIFE SAVOR. I knew I’d be falling a lot. Especially on my rear. It’s actually funny because it saved my tailbone from any kind of pain or injury but that just meant other places took the worst of it (didn’t think of padding up elsewhere 🤣). Definitely on the tighter side though! I bought a medium and was fairly tight around the waist. I would’ve normally wore a small, so thankfully I sized up. Not sure what the purpose is if not to protect your butt and tailbone. I fell ONCE, my first time down the mountain snowboarding this season and had these on, I bruised my tailbone and potentially slightly fractured, need to get a scan.
