I got mine with the Vega helmet with the Patriotic Flag graphics and have received many compliments. The drop down sun shield works fantastic and fits over my Px. glasses. It does not rattle, is easy to use, stays in place, and has great clarity. I am pleasantly surprised at only about $80 how well this Vega Helmet is made. It fits great, and the adjustable headband is awesome when wearing a skull cap or beanie under helmet . I have an HD helmets that the graphic is pealing off after just 3 years that was cleaned properly w/ only warm water. This Vega is as good or better than my HD helmet, IMHO. Bottom line , glad I didn't save a few bucks, (or spend more) and be disappointed in a different brand ... show more

Helmet arrived andin excellent condition. I was worried about the sizing because of some of the other reviews I read but I went by their sizing chart and it was extremely accurate. The helmet fit as though it was custom molded for my head. The gloss black was shiny and a very crisp vivid black coating. The fact that this also comes equipped with a quick release chin strap and an adjustable knob in the back is an added bonus. The knob I was concerned beforehand that it was some flimsy exposed plastic piece like a construction hard hat and it is not. It’s out of the way and very a comfortable fit. When adjusting, you can feel it slowly tighten to give an even greater fit. This helmet is well worth the money and I plan on buying another soon. It doesn’t look or feel like a budget helmet and actually looks like it is expensive. I am well impressed. The sun shade is also easy to lower and raise even though I probably won’t use it but it’s nice to have in case I forget my shades. Overall- very impressive and good quality and excellent fit! I have never worn an open face helmet before but with the increasingly hot temperatures in South Florida, riding with a full face will be a thing for the winters only, or for riding out of state in other climates. This helmet is light, holds tight with the size adjusting strap in the back and the ratcheting chin strap. I like that the drop down visor does not interfere with my prescription glasses or even goggles. The straps are padded and comfortable, covering my ears. Ear plugs will be a necessity if you want to ride on the quiet side, and to be expected I guess. So, why the four star? The sizing chart shows I should be using an XL (head size 24.5 in) but that would have meant the hassle of a return. I ordered the XXL, opened up the back size adjusting strip to the max, and then it fits, snugly, like a helmet should, except for the temples were there is a little more pressure than I like. I'm hoping it will ease off with time and will not be an issue. A perfect helmet would be a five stars. This came in pretty darn near to being perfect! Just order a size bigger and you should be alright. Update: I wore this helmet for seven hours today, in a mildly hot and rather dry day for South Florida. I wore a balaclava and my prescription glasses. I was surprised to experience how comfortable it felt all the way. On the positive: Cool, lightweight, unobstructive visor. On the negative: Wind sounded loud to my ears; ear plugs to the rescue. The perfect helmet, like the Holy Grail, is a never ending search. For now, I'll keep the closest thing I've found. I bought the Vega Warrior in Pearl finish. The XXL has a XL dense foam liner, making it really an XL size helmet. It helps to have the adjustable ratchet but it is not a true to size fit. I normally wear a 7 5/8 or 7 3/4 hat for reference and this helmet fits, barely. ... show more

The VEGA Warrior motorcycle helmet is the most comfortable, best-fitting helmet I've ever owned. The interior is nicely stitched, hugs your head very securely and keeps you cool. The flip-down shield is nice as it fits over my glasses. Extra shields are cheap and come in Chrome, Smoke and Clear. The quality and features are a step ahead of the rest of the lower-priced helmet competition with glasses-friendly drop-down shield, removable sun visor, and adjustable size. I was looking for a 1/2 shell helmet because I sweat profusely from my head when I am wearing the full faced helmet in the summer. I find with this half shell helmet, I get a lot more air. My head does not sweat like it does in the full faced helmet. I like the fact that there is a knob in the back that you can adjust it to be tight against your head. The quick release mechanism is great. It is well padded. The sun shield gives extra protection from glare. It runs true to size, I have always purchased a medium in helmets, and this one fits perfectly in a medium. I would purchase again if I were in need of another helmet. ... show more

Half helmets are lite and really are super for glasses wearers. This Vega helmet is the best of it's style that I have ever owned. I have had a few different brands and pretty much liked most of them. This helmet checks all the boxes with me. Nice feel on the head. Adjustment knob is a great feature, buckling and unbuckling couldn't be easier. Flat black color. What more could you ask for? I bought a pair of Vega ear pads for keeping the wind noise down.
