I'm a Chef by trade. I've been using these knives for about 8 months now. The "Damascus" marks are obviously etched on, but you wouldn't be paying this price if they were real. The blades are sharp, they keep their sharpness for a decent amount of time, and are easy to hone. My only complaint is the handles...they WILL crack eventually, but is an easy fix. I bought this set for work, but am considering another set for home so I don't have to keep shuffling them back and forth ... show more

I just started using mine, the knives are gorgeous and very sharp but a handle cracked after one use. I’m not sure how well the knife blades are going to hold up, but I sure hope they’re better than the handles.
