  • Beautiful and crazy sturdy
Size: 10 inches
This pan is a piece of art. Reminiscent of the old time Griswold pans. Machined smooth inside, although there are some slight concentric ridges from what I would guess are CNC tooling marks. The pan has seasoned very well though regular usage and oiling. It's getting close to the non-stick seasoning of my antique cast iron pans. Fish doesn't stick to it now and it's only getting better. Eggs are nearly stick-free, probably only a month before eggs won't stick. This pan is very durable and will be a family heirloom. It is heavy though! But that's cast iron! ... show more

  • Worth the investment!
Size: 10 Inches
Finex pans are pieces of art. Bonus, they also work far better than any other cast iron pan I've ever used, including my great grandmother's generationally seasoned cast iron set. And they definitely clean up w less effort. Excellent craftsmanship, perfect heat distribution. The finer points of it's unique functional design, are what set it apart to elevate the cooking experience. Worth the investment, for yourself and undoubtedly for your family's future generations. (This fresh blackberry sticky cobbler baked beautifully, evenly, and was easy to serve right from pan.) ... show more

  • Simply the best cast iron skillet you can buy at any price
Size: 10 Inches
This skillet is a work of art. It is simply the best skillet you can get at any price. The quality of production, the beauty of the handle, the use of different metals in the handle and the handle cap and the design of the lid is masterful and shows the number of learned iterations put in place to come up with this work of functional art. My wife uses it DAILY and loves it. I discovered the design of the skillet as an octagon was by design when my wife put the lid on the skillet offset such that there were small openings all around the skillet giving it just the right amount of airflow while keeping the heat centralized. I would have never guessed that was perhaps why it's an octagon! Is a cast iron skillet worth $300? I honestly feel the Finex skillets are worth the money. They are a lifetime investment and with the density and weight of the cast iron, they are generational and a thing of beauty. ... show more

  • Best Skillet EVER
Size: 10 Inches
BEST SKILLET EVER! The 10” inch is the only finex in my collection, but won’t be the last. It looks great and performs as good as it looks. The coil handle does stay cool however during longer cooks it will get hot like other cast iron handles. The flaxseed seasoning that it came with was pretty weak so I seasoned it my ya few times with shortening. I have had it less than a year and use it almost everyday. I’m just the short time I have had it, it has developed a nice dark almost black patina. Cleaning is super easy. It stays on top of the stove when not in use for all to see it’s majestic glory. My family has even named it Home Skillet. ... show more

  • Great
Size: 8 inches
Excellent pan. I use it 2 to 3 times a week. Before first use, I added to the seasoning, just my preference. It heats well and is easy to clean after use.

  • Worth the Extra $
Size: 10 Inches
Talk about Quality. I bought this for my sister and her husband for their wedding and let me tell you that as soon as I saw them unbox it I NEEDED one for myself. Having been a cook and attended culinary school you could say I have somewhat of a cooking hobby at home and this piece is sure to stand out in your kitchen. Good weight, high quality product that doesn't miss a beat on style and design. Still have not been able to cook on one just yet but looking at buying the full cast iron set for my home now that i've seen the product first hand. ... show more

  • Excellent quality at a price.
Size: 10 Inches
An attractive skillet that would look great in even the most upscale kitchens. The machined cooking surface is what separates Finex from other iron cookware. Great design and even heat retention make this a winner. The handle alone makes the price more palatable. Lodge bought Finex several months ago and is casting the Finex cookware at their facility, and then it is supposedly finished in Oregon, although mine was shipped from South Pittsburg, Tennessee, home of Lodge. I don't think it cooks any better than other quality cast iron, but it sure is pretty!! ... show more
