Ordered the privacy screen protector for the ipad. This is my first time trying this type of product. I didn't see much of a need for it on my iphone because it is a smaller screen and text is much harder to decipher when othes are next to you. I generally use my ipad at home so this privacy screen protector was an after thought. My usage has changed from a media consumption device to getting actual work done. Because of the bigger screen, it is difficult to maintain your privacy when people are sitting within close proximity in a car, bus, train, or plane. Not only does the privacy screen protector work well, it has a pleasant smooth feel to it while using the Apple pencil. Provides good privacy protection. Smudges from hand oils when touching the screen but I’m not sure much can be done for that. Screen cleans decently. I’ve had it for a few months now and still happy.

If I could give a negative number I would. The side magnets block the screen on about 1/2” on iPad Airs taking away from the large screen accustomed to these tablets. Also the protector is extremely opaque and creates taps when typing or using the screen since the protector is not connected to the iPad screen. Cheaply made and poorly designed. You won’t get 100% screen coverage. Couple millimeters exposed on two edges. Easy to put on and take off. Screen dents very easily. My iPad is less responsive with this screen on. Privacy is very good. Overall, it’s decent. Might give another manufacturer a try next time

I wish I read the instructions before throwing everything away but I use this for work and I love the privacy it has. From the sides you can’t see anything you’re working on only if you look directly at it. So if someone is standing behind you or walking past you from behind they will be able to see your screen. Otherwise I love that it has a magnet on the sides so you don’t have worry about bubbles and messing up, it is removable (but I accidentally threw the protective cover away before knowing this). I wanted to like this product and if it were just a screen protector, I think I'd be satisfied, but my overall impression is not positive for the following reasons: 1) despite being advertised as magnetic, the screen protector comes with an adhesive strip and, without those adhesives, I don't think it would stay attached to my iPad 2) despite being advertised as providing protection from "any angle," the view protection only protects to the sides when viewing in landscape orientation -- it does not offer any protection against prying eyes on either side of you if you're viewing in portrait orientation (a common way to read documents) 3) my biggest criticism is that it makes me feel like I'm reading my bright, easy to read iPad screen through a cloudy haze and, because of the privacy protection, causes certain areas of the screen (depending on viewing angle) to also look dark -- while I got the protector to help prevent others from reading my screen, I didn't get it to prevent myself from reading the screen I'm giving this product 2 stars because it does seem to cut down on glare and it does create a protective layer on the screen (as any screen protector would), but the downsides have caused me to abandon it after a week of use. ... show more
