From opening the box to fully assembled chair took me about an hour It has a lot more parts than you might think. The only obstacle I had was the instructions: after opening the box, I couldn’t find them anywhere and as mentioned, there are way too many parts to just wing it. So – I found a pdf on the Amazon product page and downloaded and printed. Having said that, my advice: Read the instructions at least twice. I then get out stick-on notes and label every part (or group of parts, since there’s a lot of that here – 4 different sets of bolts of different sizes, plus a generous extra one of each in a combined set) 5 wheels, 5 legs, a hydraulic lift, a back, a front, and scads of bolts. I also read each step completely before embarking on it, knowing what the drill is and how the drawing will correspond (the chair bottom has a “front” label, - pay attention to that in the instructions, especially when attaching the arms) While I was labelling, I found the instructions on the underside of the seat (but it didn’t hurt me to be prepared with both the set I found on line but also the furious energy to get it done that figuring that out entailed.). Now, how’s the chair? If you assemble correctly, and bolt very tightly when you’re done, you are left with a sturdy, supportive chair that has a hydraulic height adjustment, vertically adjusting armrests and a real nice, sturdy feel.     • Easy to put together, great instructions
This is a nice chair, good value for the price. We got the blue & grey one (which, oddly, is not shown any more on the product page) and it looks nice. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions were great - the parts were even packaged in separate bags labelled with the corresponding step numbers, and the allen wrench they included was much nicer than the regular ones you usually get. I've literally never seen that before and was very impressed. It shows that the company actually cares about their customers. The chair is comfortable, lightweight, and easy moving; the quality is good for a chair at this price point. Note that it is kind of small. The seat pan depth is pretty shallow, and it doesn't go up very high either, so it's really not suited for a taller person. Note that the product page is kind of messed up. They're selling 2 quite different products on the same page, so read carefully to make sure you get what you expect. I didn't realize that so my chair doesn't have all of the features I expected based on the page description. What they show as just a different size is actually a completely different chair. They should really have two different pages for the different models to avoid confusing people. ... show more

    • Easiest and quickest assembly I've ever experienced...

This chair is EASY to assemble. The screws are sorted, labeled and packed according to the assembly step they are used in. It comes with the only tool you'll need for assembly along with a couple of extra screws in case one is missing or becomes lost. All the screws already have lock-tite on the threads so no worry about a screw coming loose. I would say it took me about 15 minutes from opening the box until it was fully assembled. The chair is comfortable and would work well for a fairly large person (up to 275lbs or 125kg and the space between the arms is about 19 inches or 48.25cm). It provides good support for the lower back and has a pretty stiff spring in the mechanism for leaning back so no lean when you don't want to but if you do want to easily lean back, it takes some force to do so. The height adjustment is good. In fact, it adjusts higher than the current office chair I'm using. At the highest setting, it is 21 inches (53.35cm) vs 19.5 inches (49.5cm) compared to my current chair (measuring from the floor to the top of the cushion). It would be more comfortable if the arms were padded instead of hard plastic but they're not too bad. The arms folding up is a nice feature. They stay in place even when folded up so no flopping down on their own. With the arms folded up, I can get this chair under my desk right up until the seatback comes in contact with the desk. So, it's not in the way when not in use. Overall, a very nice and easy to assemble chair that would work well even for a fairly large and tall person. ... show more

    • You get a lot for the price.
This is a pretty good chair for the price. It has some good features: -It rolls nicely. -arms flip out of the way, -Lightweight -The price is pretty good, compared to comparable chairs -Decent shock absorbing, doesn't feel like I slam down when I sit. -The blue/gray combo looks nice. -Assembly was super easy. They included extra screws for each type, which is nice as it is easy to lose screws. -The mesh back is nice and breathable to keep you cool. A couple of things I don't love: The arms are a bit short for me, they would have been more comfortable with another inch or two of length, But there is enough there to get your arms on, so I am glad I have them. -I wouldn't say this is a heavy-duty chair. It says there is a Weight capacity of 275lb. But it feels like the plastic is pretty light, even on the wheels. So I wouldn't push that weight limit. How is it to sit in it? Not too bad! I wouldn't say it is the most comfortable chair for sitting for long periods of time. But it's not bad either. Pretty good cushion support on the seat. Great Lumbar support. Sitting, you don't hit the plastic back of the chair but feel supported nicely by the mesh. I feel it is pushing me up straight. It will probably help with my back posture. Doesn't lean back much. Overall, it's a good chair for this price. I should work well for you if you are looking to sit up straight, and support your lumbar area while keeping cool. ... show more
