Daughter loves the color and she assembled it herself without issue. Feels cheaply made to me but my 13 yr. old says it's just fine for her. Hopefully it'll last long : )

Instructions are unclear. A few steps are skipped. And there is a groove in the seat, looks like a manufacturing issue. Parts are not labeled. It gets difficult trying to differentiate which part is which and which goes where.

I will start off by saying the negative which was (as you can see in my picture) one little part of the chair where the screw did not quite go in right and it took a lot of shimmying to get in there. That being said, this chair is really fantastic. It took me about an hour to assemble from start to finish, it came with everything I needed in order to assemble it, and the instructions were super easy to follow. The chair itself is really comfortable- the portion that it has to rest your back on actually makes a big difference when you're sitting on it for extended amounts of time. The headrest is also a nice little touch and one that my previous chair did not have but that I now really appreciate. This is purely aesthetic, but I do really enjoy the dark blue color of this chair as well. Having black fabric chairs all the time gets a little boring and this one was a nice way to spice up my desk area. I highly recommend this chair and I would recommend that you pull the trigger even if you think that it'll be hard to assemble because I am by no means handy and was able to do it all on my own. ... show more
