I bought these knives to use in a skewer knife block. The knives are gorgeous and very sharp. Like the way the handles feel. But don't plan on using the knife holder that comes with this set. I couldn't even figure out how to get the knives into it. I don't like seeing the tips of the knives. The accessories are just sticking out here and there. Overall, it's a messy looking thing. I threw it away and got a compact bamboo skewer block and these look neat and tidy now. Love them. ... show more

The base is weak , not balanced enough for the knife weight. They’re very nice looking knives , pretty sharp edges. When putting it together, no instructions, I put the base on backwards. Lol. See pictures for correct base installation. They sent extra felt pads cause we will put it together backwards and use the pads, then remove them when it’s put together backwards. The screw holes on this one were just a little bit off, but i managed to apply a little pressure to line them up. Don’t tighten the nuts on one side before aligning all the screws. I will most likely add a wood base to the plastic base, because it’s not well balanced. I would recommend hand washing the knives, not dishwasher. I’ve seen some bad reviews on the quality of the knives, but I haven’t found an issue with them yet. ... show more
