I purchased this snow cone machine for my daughter’s one year party and it was a hit with the kids! It’s easy to use and the kids loved watching the ice become crushed. It also comes with 4 reusable cups that can be easily washed. We used the disposable ones for the party and still have plenty left over! Although I rated it a 5 Becasue I loved it, I will say it is very LOUD. If you’re not wanting something loud it isn’t for you. But! If you don’t care, then I’d recommend the machine. ... show more

This ice shaver looks pretty in red. Brings out the "happy" in any celebration or get together. The machine is easy to operate. When you feed the ice, a gentle push will activate the machine. It has a safety feature that when you open the ice feeder, machine automatically stops even when switch is turned on. It has a big shaved ice reservoir so you don't have to frequently open and empty it. It's a time saver. There are also 4 cone cup holders on both sides. Pretty handy. Ice scoop is round shaped to give the treat top a nice dome shape. It produces a nice, fine shaved ice, perfect for snow cone or Halo-halo snack! Works great, kids love it but know the ice is coarse. Easy to use and clean up. There are complaints about the noise, but it is grinding ice.. No big deal for me.

Super easy and fun to use. It is a bit loud but that's crushing ice. Occasionally the push paddle gets wobbly but you just back up and push again. Makes icees quickly and has more of a crushes ice texture then shaved ice.

My daughter has been hinting that she has wanted a snow-cone machine for a while, but I didn't consider it very practical since we have a blender. I saw this one from Cuisinart and decided to take a chance. Well...I regret...not getting this sooner. She uses it several times a week and it makes perfect snow cones. It's easy enough to use and easy to clean, so it is certainly more practical than using a blender for making shredded ice. This is a bit loud but a great little gadget for the pantry with littles. Little ones can even help because of the automatic shut off when lever is lifted.
