I have been wanting a vacuum sealer for a very long time! In the past I worked with big scale/production vacuum sealers so I knew that was looking out for a small, compact, easy to use one for my house. This CROWNFUL Automatic Vacuum Sealer Machine is a perfect fit for me. It is really compact, simple, and did a fantastic job with my produce. I did notice that the machine can not be run consistently for long periods of time. The machine was quite warm to the touch, after three seals that were back to back. I had wanted this so that I can prep meals ahead of time and then freeze them to pull out for easy dinners when I dont feel like cooking! This is the first time I've used anything like this and I really like it a lot. I ordered this for food storage. I don’t know if it is our freezer or bags are getting cheaper but our meat has been getting freezer burn. I have never used one of these before but I found this one easy to figure out after reading the instructions. I used this on several pounds of ground beef and it worked very well. I did notice there is a bit of a learning curve but I figured it out on my second try. This comes with the sealer, some bags and a roll of make it yourself bags. It doesn’t come with a lot and I need to order more. I have done the cost comparison and it isn’t bad with buying freezer bags. The led screen is easy to use and I like the option of being able to vacuum more after the setting is done. The removable drip tray is a nice feature, I had some leakage with my ground beef and it was easy to clean up. I am happy with this purchase. Because we buy most of our meat in bulk on sale or discounted this will make saving the meat long term easier for us. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I picked up this vacuum sealer with the hopes that it would work for resealing 3D printer filament reels to keep them dry. Out of the box you get a set of premade bags, a supply roll to make more of your own at whatever size and the power cable. The instruction guide has a QR code which leads you to some instructional videos which are helpful to show you how to make your own bags. In my case, I found that a 250-gram filament reel will just fit in the premade bags. Operation of the unit is simple. You plug it in, place the open end of your bag into the unit and press the button of your choice. For filament I used the “dry” button. The unit runs for a bit, sucks all the air out, then heat seals it all and releases the bag. For filament it works great! If you are thinking of trying and using this for full size reels, it will work, but if you are trying to use the bag your filament came in, some bags I found are too wide. But this really is not an issue as you can easily obtain shorter bags for full size reels. For me, this device works perfectly. I posted a video of it sealing a reel of filament. ... show more

Purchased for my Costco runs. Sealed hamburger and chicken. Worked like a champ. This was my first experience with a food saver. I love how it has a cutter on the top. Made trimming up the bags so much easier. Careful because the instructions are metric. Says to insert 30mm. I had to look it up. The bags are a decent size, but I will be ordering bigger bags. I could barely squeeze 1lb of hamburger into the bag. The sealer is super easy to use and it's pretty quiet. I am very happy with this order! ... show more

    • Does the job. But can be frustrating.
It does what it says it will but it was a hassle to deal with. This is my first food sealer so not sure if it comes with rhe territory ir not. I think the biggest issue is the buttons. They are a touch type amd rhe SLIGHTEST touch causes it to react. Accidentally brush the button with your bag? It starts up at whatever random button you pushed. This causes issues where it might start sealing on the wrong setting. This is made worse because the stop button doesn't always reset the device. There is a flap that rises so you can put the bag in but because of the light touch issue, it may close the flap without you knowing it. I didn't realize this until I lifted the machine (which caused ANOTHER false start) and then saw what was happening. It took WAY LONGER than needed to seal 2 bags. I do like that it sealed my bag of chips in the existing bag. I think that if they switched to physical buttons that you have to push it would solve most of my issues.
