Lid is tempered glass that is protected by a stainless steel rim. Stainless steel handle is riveted for strength. Not induction compatible. I first purchased the 3.5qt saute pan (on left) and I LOVE it! I decided to buy the 5qt thinking it was the same pan, but the bottoms are totally different. In the pictures, the pan on the left is the 3.5qt (notice the textured bottom). The pan in the next pic is the 5qt pan and there is no textured bottom on that pan. What's going on??? I really really like this sauce pan, especially so with high sides. Feels thick and heavy. Nice handle. Good heat distribution. Cleans up will. Decent (but not fantastic) lid.
