Sturdy, shiny (pretty but that’s not a biggy), not heavy like cast iron (duh but sufficient), and the LID FITS WELL! Hey, that’s important as there’s a steam vent to let steam (pressure) or whatever that thingy vent does … I really like it. Glass lid so you can see “how’s it cooking”, and this pot and it’s super lid DO clean up well. I must in this woman’s kitchen. My husband thinks so, too, as it doesn’t take me too long to clean up! The deal is, with this lovely pot, he or I will prep, cook, and then I clean up. It’s ok as he’s a much better cook and not lazy. I LOVE cleaning up vs cooking. 49 years and counting but only a few weeks on this pot. I’m adding this pot to my last Will & Testament to leave to one of the kids … The one who always cleans up! Very well made and heavyweight beautiful pot. I didn’t have a chance to use it yet, but I’m sure I’ll be using it for a very very long time. I’m sure it’s an outstanding quality pot. The only one draw back, in the description it states 12 quarts, BUT it shows volume marks inside the pot- 10 quarts, then - 10 liters, which is equal to 10.56 quarts. I guess, if you put little more stuff in the pot, it might be fitting almost 11 quarts. I used for a first time yesterday - it’s amazing quality and I’ll be a happy chef to enjoy it for a long time. ... show more

What sold me on this pot, over others, was the measurements etched on the inside of the pot. This has been very convenient since I use this pot for brewing tea. To be able to consistently brew the same tasting tea, it's important that the measurements are precise. I also like the glass lid so that I can see when the water is boiling. The copper handles is a nice look and contrast to the stainless steel. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend it. ... show more
