  • Great cooking set!
Size: 5-Piece
The rack is perfect for keeping skillets right near stove. Easy to clean if properly seasoned. (Use water to soak, brush clean, rinse, dry and rack. )

  • Great set with proper care
Size: 2-Piece
These are great, enough to make me wish I'd discovered cast iron sooner! I left the original seasoning on, but did a seasoning of my own before using. I also cooked high fat foods like bacon for the first few uses to help it along. The cleaning couldn't be easier! Most times, a jet of hot water from my sink sprayer is enough, although I've needed to use the chain mail scrubber a couple times. The included silicone handles are nice, although I end up usually just using a dish towel or oven mitt because I forget to put them on before the pan heats up 😂. After cleaning, I always dry them well and hit them with a small bit of oil (a coffee filter wrapped around a dry sponge is great for spreading it: it won't lint like a paper towel or even a dish towel will, and gets into the corners nicely). Some words to the wise on care: It's metal. It will rust if you leave water in it. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER. A light coat of oil after cleaning will help stave off rust. The seasoning is a layer of oil that has polymerized (changed chemically) from heat, that protects the surface and makes it nonstick. Acid-y foods like tomatoes will weaken it, as will soap: use sparingly, if at all. If your food is sticking, or the pan is dull, you may need to season it again. Google, YouTube, and Pinterest are wealths of knowledge and how-to's. Heat your pan before adding your fat and food if you want it heated evenly, especially if you're trying to sear something. Although iron is tough, it is not unbreakable. Use common sense and don't treat the pans like they're indestructible. Let them cool (at least to the point you can handle them without oven mitts) before you clean them, so you don't temperature-shock the metal and make it brittle. Be careful on a glass cooktop, so the pans don't scratch your surface. I definitely see these pans being a huge part of my cooking routine for years to come. My sons are already fighting over who they'll get left to! If you found any of my tips helpful, please be sure to click the helpful button to let me know! Thanks, and happy cooking! ... show more

  • Cast iron rocks!
Size: 4-Piece
I was raised using cast iron. The pans we used were a different style because of the method of creation. Because of the casting method in the past the pans were smooth. These pans have a slight roughness to them. 3 things you can do. 1. leave them alone and build up a good seasoning. 2. Sand them smooth. 3. Spend a ton more cash for a higher quality. In the end I stayed with these. The price is incredible and as I use them with steel spatulas the surface becomes much smoother. I did however season them 3 times prior to use. I give these pans a high grade because of value, quality, and simplicity of preparing them for use. 1 more point... learn to USE cast iron and you will never use anything else, but, you must learn how to use them. The flavor is so____much better. Stick free is a fact. And you get all your daily iron in a meal. The only downside could be the weight. ... show more

  • Just I Wanted
Size: 3-Piece
I love my new cast iron pans. Unfortunately I had to leave my old ones behind during my divorce! I like the silicon handles on the two larger pans, but it is too large for the handle on the smallest. Have 2 handles on each is nice and the pouring spout.

  • Season them yourself! Great pans!
Size: 4-Piece
These pans were a gift for my husband. He has wanted cast iron pans for awhile now, and this was the best deal I’ve seen for them ($55 for 4 pans). We haven’t cooked on them yet because they do need to be sanded and seasoned properly. This is the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. They are incredibly gritty and poorly seasoned. However, they are excellent pans and come with some really high quality rubber/silicone handles. The only problem I have with the handles is they can only handle 350 🌡 and it isn’t exactly slip-on, so using them for oven purposes is counterproductive. They make great handles for stove or open fire use though. They aren’t as thick as my grandparents cast iron n, but ultimatly I believe this makes them easier to handle, cook, clean, and season. They are a more reasonable weight for regular use. They are definitely worth what I paid for them, and if you register them with the QR code thing, they send you a free accessory. So if your looking for excellent quality everyday home or outdoor use cast iron, these are perfect. I suggest you get yourself some sand paper and oil to season them properly and smoothly but other than that they are perfect! ... show more
