Sharp, nice wood block color. So far - love these knives. Cut through anything and everything! The sharpeners work like a charm. The only reason. I gave a 4 star is because of the space they take up on my counter top. It's a little squat vs tall, so more space is used.

These are high quality knives that work exactly as they need to. The only thing I can add is watch your fingers. I had been using dull knives for so long I forgot how to use a sharp knife.
