So far we really like this chair. After checking many reviews, I chose this one because it's an attractive style and appeared to be comfortable and supportive. It was a little tricky to assemble, the holes did not line up equally well for all of the screws but we got it done within about 30 mins. So far I think it's comfortable, the seat feels a little springy but there is very strong lumbar support right at the base of the spine. And YES it does tilt. Like most chairs, you have to pull out the lever that controls the up/down to apply the tilt setting. It's just as nice looking in person as it is online ... show more

The chair itself is a really beautiful chair BUT, it has no bottom support. After only a month of using it my legs hurt at the edge of the chair. There is no cushion, foam or anything substantial at the edge of the chair so your thighs hurt. I am really disappointed because for the price and set up I would have expected more. ... show more

The chair did arrive in a battered box as a few other reviewers have noted, but the chair was undamaged and all of the parts were present. I found the chair to be quite easy to put together. I did it alone in about twenty minutes. Overall, the chair is quite comfortable, but it doesn't have the best back support, so I've been using a lumbar pillow for extra support. The seat cushion is also a little hard, but I prefer that in my chairs. I've been sitting it all day every day for about a week, and so far it has held up well. 6 months in and it's just ok. Started making tons of creaking noises every time you move about 1 month in. So it's kind of loud. It's also had a problem keeping some of the button covers on. This one in particular won't stay on anymore. I'd probably not rebuy it due to these issues.

If you've read other reviews, you may have noticed that they say the chair comes missing some screws. That is true. It is missing 4 metric machine screws that are needed to attach the bottom rolling bottom to the chair part. I found a match at Home Depot, using one of the shorter screws, to get an M6-1.0 x 30 mm machine screws with washers. I recommend getting these from Amazon instead because THD and Lowe's don't always have enough of any type of metric screws in stock. They do tend to be more expensive than average screws. But the chair is so worth the extra purchase! It is stylish, good quality, sturdy, with a big seat, and the elegant curve of the back provides great lumbar support. I can sit cross-legged in it quite comfortably. If you get it even slightly used (even "Like New"), expect the packaging to be not so good, but it's worth it. Mine had some dents on the wood of one leg that were not described, but I just sanded it. Again, it's worth it. I've tried other desk chairs that look nice, but none had the added ergonomics and space that this one does. If you're willing to accept these caveats, then I highly recommend this chair! ... show more

Chair arrived in a completely destroyed box. Upon unpacking we discovered the based of the chair had been shattered. Contacted Boss and they shipped a new base and it was obviously a used / floor model and was damaged as well. Contacted Boss again and they shipped a third base. Base arrived and was a different shade of wood than the original arms of the chair. Contacted Boss again and they are shipping a new based that will hopefully match. For an almost $300 executive office chair I would have expected better. ... show more
