  • No comparison to my original one!!!
Color: Burgundy Style: Vinyl
Purchased this same chair and same brand name over 10 years ago. My first one I used in my office at home and sitting in it daily over the past 10 years. The arms are a little deteriorated but that is to be expected over 10 years. The pneumatic lift does not work very well so I repair that. I bought this chair for my office at work because the original one held up so well. The new one is no where close to the QUALITY of the original one. Within 2 months of owning the new one the vinyl cushion ripped in the seat. The seat wobbles and has become very uncomfortable. The pneumatic lift has already broken. I use the original one at home as much as I do the 2nd one for work. This company must of change manufactures because there is night and day difference in quality between both of them. ... show more

  • Very Nice for the Price
Color: Burgundy Style: Vinyl
I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the box with my new chair and assembling it. Very nice for the price. I noticed several people had trouble putting these chairs together so thought I would give some advice. I used the big box that it came in as a work bench to put it together. specifically putting the back and arms on. Just put the seat upside down on the end of the box, attaching the back is easy, because its resting at the right height when sitting on the floor and attaching it to the base plate. Look for crud in the holes before trying to finger thread the bolts into place. If there is crud in the hole, gently pry it out with a tooth pick. The bolts have blue lock tight on them so can be hard to thread in, so finger start them first. Don't tighten the base screws until you have added the arms. Gives you wiggle room when attaching the arms to the back. Now you have the back loosely on and the chair is still upside down on the box, allowing you to easily attach the arms, with the box holding the chair in perfect position. Again look for fabric or crud in the holes before starting the bolts. Attach both arms loosely, again starting each bolt with your fingers, and then tighten all arm bolts, and base plate bolts. Just flip it over and put it on the base jack and your done. Took me longer to unwrap all the parts than it took to assemble it...USING THE BOX TO REST THE CHAIR ON...about 20 minutes. Love the look and love the comfort for my particular needs. But your needs may differ so do the research before buying anything like this on line. I'm using it as a casual computer chair and am leaning forward all the time. The cushion is great and leaning back is also comfortable but it doesn't recline at all. But leans back enough to be comfortable. I almost bought a used office chair off of CC for $150 but decided to spend a little extra and take a chance on this one. Glad I did! ... show more

  • DOT NOT!!! buy this chair - No Cushion - Broken before 3 months
Color: Black Style: Vinyl
The chair seemed fine at first, Assembly was simple enough. It took around 35 minutes to put together. The problem with this chair appeared around two weeks into ownership. I work at my desk all day and the cushion leaves much to be desired. Plain and simple, your butt will be sore.. But that is not all. After merely 3 months the darn this is broken, the screws became undone where the backrest connects to the base. Its just cheaply constructed and you live and learn. This is a very, very, very, very ----very bad chair and not worth the money. ... show more

  • Great Quality and Super Comfortable
Color: Navy Style: Fabric
I have to say, I am very impressed with the quality of this chair. I’ve been needing an office chair for a long time and have been putting it off because apparently office chairs are obnoxiously expensive - I had no idea. After reading a ton of reviews, I decided on this chair. It got delivered today and the box was pretty beaten up and damaged, so I was a bit nervous to see how the contents inside faired. Luckily, the pieces of the chair were packaged like Fort Knox so everything was intact. It took me about 40 minutes to unbox everything and get the chair assembled. It was such an easy process. The chair is comfortable and well made. I love it! ... show more

  • This Chair is Worth It
Color: Slate Grey Style: Fabric
If you've read other reviews, you may have noticed that they say the chair comes missing some screws. That is true. It is missing 4 metric machine screws that are needed to attach the bottom rolling bottom to the chair part. I found a match at Home Depot, using one of the shorter screws, to get an M6-1.0 x 30 mm machine screws with washers. I recommend getting these from Amazon instead because THD and Lowe's don't always have enough of any type of metric screws in stock. They do tend to be more expensive than average screws. But the chair is so worth the extra purchase! It is stylish, good quality, sturdy, with a big seat, and the elegant curve of the back provides great lumbar support. I can sit cross-legged in it quite comfortably. If you get it even slightly used (even "Like New"), expect the packaging to be not so good, but it's worth it. Mine had some dents on the wood of one leg that were not described, but I just sanded it. Again, it's worth it. I've tried other desk chairs that look nice, but none had the added ergonomics and space that this one does. If you're willing to accept these caveats, then I highly recommend this chair! ... show more

  • In depth review to reassure you this is a great product!
Color: Slate Grey Style: Fabric
Was a little skeptical on this based on quantity of reviews on Amazon. Checked competitor's websites and decided to go for it. Packaging of items was good while exterior packaging was very poor. No damage during shipping but manufacturer should consider beefier container to ensure no damage (several holes could be susceptible to water or other damage). Assembly was not terribly hard to navigate through. Instructions are provided but not necessary in my opinion. You’ll need a Wide Phillips head and that’s about it. Took approximately 15-20 min. Appearance is as the images show - flawless. Comfortable enough, I’m concerned about the longevity of the bottom cushion. The design leads me to believe that over time the springs/cushion may sag and leave a flat feeling. Arm rests are perfect and provide about 1/2” or more of cushion. I rely on these for typing and love it. Height varies according to description and other questions answered. One negative is that when I sit down and slide forward or backwards to approach my desk I hear a loud pop which appears to come from the bottom wheel assembly. I’ve tightened everything and not sure what it is. Would recommend regardless. ... show more
