Most big and tall chairs don't give you that extra height which is stupid. They cover the weight but not the height. This chair was easy to assemble and well constructed. The seat is firm too. I love this chair. I purchased a previous one two years ago for my home in Kentucky and it's holding up great. I decided I needed a similar work-at-home chair in my Florida condo so I bought the same Colomy model 2181 chair I already had, offered at a good price and Prime free shipping. I was at first disappointed when this chair arrived with a broken tension control knob. After a couple of email exchanges with the Colamy customer service, they quickly agreed to ship a replacement chair rather than just the one broken part, in case there were any other problems with the first shipment. The replacement arrived in perfect condition, still easy to assemble, and I'm using it now to write this review. I strongly recommend this chair or another chair from this company if this one doesn't fit your size. Superior customer service like this is hard to find these days! ... show more

Just got this in, slapped it together in about 20 minutes it was surprisingly easy to put together. The seat material feels pretty soft. My only real issue with this chair is it has a forward tilt. To me this is a huge issue and I don't recall it mentioning this in the description and if it did I must've missed it. It kind of gives me this sensation of just leaning/falling forward a bit too much. I also worry about the long term wear and tear it will have with this kind of tilt. I originally rated this 5 Stars but I'm lowering it to 1. One star because the chair gets kind of uncomfortable after a while. Uncomfortable to the point where my lower back starts killing me and I have to get up every 30 minutes. I tried a lot of different things to fix it including talking with support who reached out to me and mailed me a few new pieces no questions asked which was nice of them. However trying to fix this chair just became a second job and wasn't worth the amount of time I was putting into it. Between the 20ish emails I sent back and forth with support (only 1 email a day they don't seem to respond back on the same day), and then replacing two pieces of the chair which required me to remove the cylinder twice (not sure if you've ever removed a cylinder but it's not the easiest task). I probably spent more of my time than what this chair was even worth. I threw it away and ordered a new one because I'm not wasting anymore time trying to get a refund. I'd like it to just sit perfectly flat. If it wasn't for this annoying tilt I'd probably rate this chair 5* if you don't mind a forward angle on your chair it is probably great for you. ... show more

easy enough to put together. Pros: thick padding, wide seat, comfortable (for a short time). Cons: The chair started to squeak - we are 2 weeks into normal use, wheels seem to be made of a cheap material, and after a while the chair starts to feel uncomfortable.
