Had an issue with the original mat we purchased with my ten year old able to make a hole in the mat after about an hour of hitting on the mat wearing sneakers. Since that time, they contacted me and offered to send a new mat free of charge. Will update quality of new mat after we receive it.

This mat is heavy duty and works great. I would recommend batters to use tennis shoes rather than cleats to help the mat last longer.
