I've completely sworn off permanent dye since finding this stuff. Since there are no ammonias or harsh chemicals it doesn't wreck my hair–in fact my hair looks healthier after I dye it. Idk about anyone's experiences with pink or green, I only use Transylvania to dye my hair black, but man this stuff is powerful and I love that it smells great, deposits color evenly and DOES NOT LOOK BLUE–it is true natural looking black. No need to bleach your hair despite recommendations but if you're a natural blonde it might not be enough, though I use it to cover up some stray grays so hey you never know. If anything it might look more blue or artificial. It's also cruelty free and a great value, everything else out there is expensive as all hek and doesn't work nearly as well. Since it's just literal dye and not ammonia I let it sit in my hair for an hour or two, it looks perfect and basically lasts forever. Highly recommend! ... show more

One this dye smells amazing. Two my split and dying ends I should have cut are now conditioned enough to pass for a bit longer. Three my hair is a shade darker than the darkest brown example in the sample picture for this product so I knew it might not work but I am very happy to report I have a nice violet purple tint to my hair, just what I was hoping for! I left it in for about an hour and a half (plus the time it took to put it in). Literally just blow dried it so I can't account to how it holds up but so far I am very happy. So I made the mistake of only getting my fiancé one bottle of the small version of this. If not just getting the larger size and then one small size, you should be more than OK with that but you really should just need the bigger size instead of two smaller ones. We ended up dying it twice because the first time we knew not everything was saturated but went ahead anyway. After dying in a second time, it was a lot closer to what my fiancé was wanting. The only issue is that this dye bleeds into everything. My fiancé’s face has a tint of blue and has had it for a few days now. It’s kind of like I’m gonna marry Smurfette or that lady on avatar. All jokes aside if done correctly it shouldn’t be that much of an issue on your face but on your bedding or your pillow, I would say you’re definitely gonna have some dye on that. ... show more

It doesn't last very long. As most of these don't. The time it says is not how long it lasts. I understand it varies from person to person due to the types of hair products you use, water pressure and how often you wash your hair But, I put it to the test. I normally get Frose. I thought, maybe darker would last longer. No difference. No difference in different hair products either. It's kind of a pain to keep doing this every 2 weeks. Not to mention it's expensive. It's also very hard to get out of the bottle. That might not be an AF thing though. I really like this and Frose but with the amount I need and $18 a bottle, I can't do that every 2 weeks. I'm too poor and too cheap. If it lasted for a month, fine. But I'm going to look for a dye that lasts longer and preferably cheaper. Shame since those 2 colors are the exact colors I like. And of course, with any dye, the color is just an example. No one gets that color perfectly. Its pretty close but the color I get with both are what I want. So, maybe I'll find 1 that lasts longer. I hope so. Manic Panic seems to but I don't get the colors I get with Frose and this 1. IDK. So guess we'll see. ... show more

We used 2 bottles periwinkle and a smidge of metallic to get a beautiful silvery blue/lavender color - it took well to all bleached areas but not at all to her normal blonde hair, which we read is typical of the pastels. She was fine with it and was very happy with how it turned out. Left on for about an hour. I love this product. I have it as a subscription. I won’t use anything else. When I want to dye my hair extremely, I’ll use it by itself, otherwise I will add a bottle to my conditioner and I will use it once a week, leave it in while I shower for about 10 to 15 minutes and it just accentuates the color. I have had BRIGHT red hair for over 5 years. I love it but the constant bleaching of roots every 6 weeks is not a healthy hobby I want to maintain. I still wanted red but without having to do any bleach/oxidizing etc. I accepted I would need to settle for a dark red sadly with no bleach any more. I LOVE good dye young rock lobster but it doesn’t cover my natural color. Someone suggested this. I have pics up so you can be the judge but I’m Not mad about it. I think it did a decent job covering my roots. I will say I’ve tried a lot of red dye over the last 5 years and I have used artic fox. They are notoriously worse for run off and dying items compared to other red dyes. My brand new white grout, even though I actively cleaned it in the shower, is allll pink. It also stained my body a lot more than other dyes and is harder to get off but the coverage has been the best so idk … I may try another brand but this does work! ... show more
