  • Very pigmented Shade Truly Red
Color: 060 Truly Red Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I love the results! The color is very vibrant and shiny. I had a color red that was very washed out in color and had quite a bit of new growth of dark ash brown. I put this on while wearing gloves. I put all my rugs away and started applying around my edges and temples. Then started splitting my hair while focusing on the roots. I then started applying close to my scalp to avoid making a mess. I began working it through my hair with my fingers while Making sure it was covered from root to ends. I took a grocery bag- hey! Don’t judge..and covered my head and then tied it in a bow. I took a black wash cloth and wiped off my face and neck that got dripped on. waited 15 minutes. While waiting I cleaned up my vanity and sink. Scrubbing bubbles sprayed onto any spots where the dye may have landed takes it off like a charm. Hopped in the shower and rinsed what felt like days for the water to not be bright red running off my head and onto the bottom of the tub. I washed my hair twice as well as conditioned it. The water was still quite orange but we let it go. I grabbed my scrappy towel to dry my hair, used heat protection spray then dried and styled as usual. I’ll sleep with a towel over my pillowcase tonight since I sweat like Hell’s Kitchen but hey! It looks freaking amazing! I love it so much. Oh, and your tub will be stained. But don’t worry! Spray with Scrubbing bubbles and a give a quick wipe down. Rinse and it’s like nothing ever happened! ... show more

  • Doesn't last long but looks good!
Color: 046 Spiced Amber Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
The color is very cute and I put it on already bleached hair. It was very vibrant the first day but faded fairly quickly after a few washes. That's to be expected for semi-permanent dyes though. The best part was it was non damaging to the already pretty damaged hair. I mixed it with a hair mask and so my hair was very smooth and silky but the color was still so cute. This is also great for people who want a semi permanent dye that is actually natural looking. If you like to switch colors a lot this is perfect but if you want a more permanent color you might wanna look for another brand. ... show more

  • Fun-Easy-A little messy-Will Buy Again
Color: 088 Magenta Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
My hair is wavy and down to the middle of my back. I’m naturally brown hair and about 50% gray, I’ve added the before pictures just so you could see how crazy it’s been growing out and pretty much ugly because I haven’t colored it in about 10 weeks. My hair has always been colored on the red side out of a box permanent color. This is the first time I’m using a semi permanent hair color color and first time going with a non-natural standard color. I am trying only the Magenta by itself. I’m putting these notes together as I’m doing the process so I can tell you, I have No Idea how this is going to turn out. 👀 Here’s what I did: 1.) I mixed the hair color with about a third of white conditioner and mixed it. 2.) I added a mixture of shampoo and conditioner below the hairline to try to prevent skin staining. I’m always challenged when it comes to these home jobs. 3.) Went into the shower and sat on the floor with the mixed dye and my gloves on. I have long hair, so I leaned over the bowl of mixture, which is rather runny as people have mentioned. Applied mixture to hair carefully while leaning over the bowl to make sure none of the product got on my shower floor. 4.) From there, I cleaned the bowl while still in shower by adding water and pouring it directly down the drain to keep it from spreading throughout the shower floor. I did this a few times until it ran kind of pink. I also washed my comb which cleaned up just fine. I placed the rinsed bowl on a dark towel in case pink might show up from any leftover water. Put the bowl in the sink until end of process cleanup. 5.) I didn’t use my comb throughout any of the application except to mix the conditioner and the hair color because I couldn’t find my hair dye brush. It worked fine. Cleaned up perfectly. 6.) Then, I wrapped my head in plastic wrap as best as I could without really looking at what I was doing. Just enough to keep the drips off my skin and the hair up. 7.) Sat on the porch for 45 minutes with a glass of wine and waited. Thoughts running through my head thinking I must be crazy and this is a total home experiment. I am nervous.😬😬 8.) Cool rinsed in the shower with without shampoo. Because I use the curly girl method to keep hair from looking too fried, I figure the leave-in conditioner is just fine instead if the suggested shampooing for the moment (today?). I’ll shampoo with my low poo later today just to make sure I don’t leave product wherever I put my head (pillows) later. 8.) Went out for dinner with hubby. He likes the color. Update: This color has lasted much longer than I thought it would. I wash my hair about 2x a week with low-poo so that may be why it has lasted so long. My roots have grown out and need touch-up but the color is great. I like color while it softens with washes. Going to try Cajun Spice next. Wonder how that will turn out on top of this Magenta. 🤔 July 21 - posted a picture of just Magenta color about a month old. Roots are dark with grays and rest of hair is quite bright magenta 1. Just going to go for it with Cajun Spice color right over the old- no conditioner mix and no heat 2. Results pic posted - my thoughts…. Drum roll…👀 ... show more

  • Heads up on Mystic Gray - it's blue leaning!
Color: 158 Mystic Gray Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I previously had this brand's 198 Powder Blue on my hair, until it faded into a very nice, ultra pale silvery blonde with a very subtle blue tinge underneath. I applied 158 Mystic Gray on my hair in sections, using a wide tooth comb to help evenly spread the formula. Next, I covered my hair with a plastic cap and applied heat with a blow dryer for about 10 minutes, switching between hot & warm/cool to help minimize damage. I then rinsed with cool water, and applied a bonding conditioner before rinsing a final time. This hair color does not necessarily fry or dry out my hair, but there aren't any added nutrients or ingredients to help with bonding/damage either. It come out a dark dusty blue, and the photo attached is my hair after two washes. In natural light, with no filters, it's a nice silvery blue color very similar to what Powder Blue gave me. Underneath the lights in my bathroom or kitchen, for example, my hair looks darker and you can really see the blue. I don't hate it! I actually really like the color on me, and will most likely alternate between Mystic Gray and Powder Blue. Very good color quality & affordable, but maybe not the color choice for you if you're looking for a gray that is less blue leaning. ... show more

  • Doesn’t fade and is my favorite!!
Color: 142 Pink Blush Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
So I decided to go pink a year or so back and professionally had color put in and washed only 1 x in cold water and the color was super faded (as you can see in second/last pic) . I mixed pink blush with neon pink to get my results. When I apply to roots it makes it into an ombré type fade. Absolutely love this and I have tried ALL the brands including professional unprofessional and this one stays the best and gives me the exact color I’ve been wanting. Get it! 🩷❤️ ... show more
