So, I have always been a long time user of Manic Panic. Until they changed the formula of my favorite color, wildfire! Then I switched to Iroiro. Loved that color too, but I found it to have a pink tone than I was normally used to. I didn't like paying more money for a color I wasn't in love with. Then I came across Adore... I saw the price... *rapid blinking *! Sees the price! Wow that's affordable! I have long hair, but usually a 4 oz bottle covers it. I was skeptical whether this cheap product was going to have the quality I was hoping for because it was very affordable. So I saw the 2 pack was a great deal! 2 for under $10!!! SOLD! I went for Ruby Red! Bleached my hair like I always did, washed it out, dried it thoroughly, and lastly applied the Adore! I wrapped it up and applied heat to help it out! Rinsed with cold water and conditioned... And voila! I'm so happy with the results! It does bleed some when I wash it though... So I definitely suggest using ion's color sealer conditioner and using a towel you don't love! ... show more

This hair dye dyed my hair really well, lasted super long, my only problem was it legit stained every single thing it touched and I had to spend half an hour scrubbing the tub after I had rinsed the dye out of my hair.

I use the sapphire blue to tone my coppery at home dye job to light ash brown. Normally I mix it with conditioner and leave it on for 30 min or less, under two plastic caps for heat retention. Gives me light ash brown for about a week. I love that it doesn't make my fine hair stink of old lady perfume (like most products) and how it cleans up easily and doesn't bleed onto towels etc once you shampoo it out. ... show more

Alright Ya'll- I have my cosmo license, and have spent majority of my life looking for the most bang for my buck as far as my own personal hair color goes. I was blessed with the most versatile natural hair to color- platinum blonde (I was tow headed as a child). The only downside? I HATE my natural haircolor, it washes me out SO much. I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars trying everything from lime green to black to various balayage, and all of it was OKAY, but after years of searching, I discovered that a natural ginger looks best on me. The only problem? A natural looking ginger at home is INCREDIBLY difficult to not only achieve, but also to maintain. So here I am, giving away my secrets. This Adore Ginger is an absolute go-to. It sets a wonderful base- its a bit more red-toned than a natural ginger, [picture #1] but that quickly fades in about 3 washes (Red has the largest color molecules and leaves the pores in your hair the quickest- ProTip.) Once that red fades, you're left with this GORGEOUS color that ALMOST passes as natural. ALMOST. From about 3 feet away, it looks like you were born with it. Any closer, and you start to notice some green tinging that is NOT so natural. [picture #2] So to combat greenish tones and give you that little extra OOMPH that you need for that complete natural look, pair ADORE GINGER with a HENNA natural dye (thats right). I STRONGLY recommend The Henna Guy's Orange/Red (its available on amazon for about $15 a pack, you'll get roughly 4-8 dyes out of it depending on your hair length)- this will help your roots look naturally ginger as they grow out while blending into your ADORE base. Use the henna every 2-3 weeks all over your hair to refresh your color, combat the greenish tinging, and keep it SILKY soft and natural looking. The henna smells horrible, especially in comparison to how amazing the ADORE smells, but TRUST ME ON THIS. [picture #3] I've used this technique for over 2 years, and I get asked on a weekly basis if "thats my natural hair". The fresh color between these two is STUNNING, and the fade out not only takes FOREVER with this combination, but looks even MORE natural with time. The henna will wash out well after the ADORE does, and if you keep alternating, not only will you have a GORGEOUS natural ginger for as long as you want, but the money you'll save on skipping the salon is worth it in itself- I'm always down to help clients learn things on their own because everyone's tastes are different, and your vision might differ from your stylist's vision when it comes to color. Also, we are in a pandemic, no one wants to spend $100+ on a color that requires upkeep the way ginger does. I've tried to do this with many other dyes, products, and brands, but the only acceptable base is ADORE Ginger- I will never stop using this line of products and strongly recommend them to anyone who wants rich color with minimal damage. 10/10 FOR SURE. ... show more

I love this hair dye but it fades super fast, for the people with brown hair I would recommend bleaching it and then dying it.

    • Great for gray hair!
Color: 193 Soft Lavender Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I'm 62 and have mostly gray hair but wanted some pizzaz, hey, I'm old, I'm allowed..lol This color was just perfect but don't do what the instructions say, never wash your hair after you dye it. Just leave on, rinse, than wash after 36 hours. Don't be scared by the bright pink color on your head, once rinsed it will be a beautiful shade of lavender. So far 4 shampoos and it's fading gradually but the color is still there. Lasts about 10 shampoos. I recommend this for how easy it is to use, the beautiful shade and the gradual fading which means no roots showing..lol All in all, a great product! ... show more

I typically dont write reviews, but would feel awful if what happened to someone else! I used this color and adore emerald to dye my hair it came out beautiful mermaid colors, however and here is the key! about a weekish later I went to the beach for the weekend, tip one dont color your hair before a beach trip, these dyes bled like a MF!!!! I have used adore in the past, no problems at all & Ive used the light pinks hot pink black neon green & I think emerald a very long time ago. besides blue flowing down my back at the beach (super embarrassing I advise u avoid it lol) here comes the point tho- I woke up the next day with my entire face swollen with eczema. I think it was a combination of the hair dye running all over my face and the salt water, but if you have sensitive skin just buyer beware! I love the color and this has never happened to me before, Ive used adore, manic panic, splat, arctic fox even the other white one in the tube whatever point being my face is messed up and I hope urs doesnt get messed up if ur reading this. praying for all the eczema baddies who just want cool hair its tough out here ... show more

I use Adore SP Haircolor #155 Titanium. The first time I used it, the results were not so impressive. As a former hair stylist, with tenaciously resistant silver (salt and pepper) hair it was still leaving the silver portions untouched. I decided to apply it to my DRY hair, for 45 minutes, covering it with a plastic cap and warm towel and the results were impressive. It still looked natural - more like my hair looked 5 years ago. I'm not sure how long the color will stay in... it really depends on how often you shampoo. Love it. Doesn't take your breath away. It's a keeper! ... show more
