You do need a beading needle for these. These are simply beautiful. Some holes are smaller on some size beads so a regular needle won't work. I love the beading needles that you don't have to thread. They have a loop which you can get anywhere or here on Amazon. Those are really cool! I beaded fingerless gloves with these, gorgeous! I beaded my mom a bini crochet hat and it is so pretty. I washed that bini hat in a zipper washing machine mesh bag and the beads still have the same brilliance. Very good deal on these super pretty beads.
