Color choices are great, and very bright. I have them installed on my covered porch and they provide great lighting at night. The picture I uploaded is a dark purple, the lighter colors provide much better lighting. I used the clips to install the lights temporarily, as I plan on repainting my porch in the spring. I would recommend using the adhesive backing and the clips. They have been up for about a month now and haven't moved at all. The remote works great. You do need the app to set up a schedule/timer for the lights, which was also very easy to do. There is a setting where the lights move to music, but this means the music has to be played through the app, which means you have to physically have music on your phone, not streamed. Doesn't bother me too much as I don't plan on having raves on my porch. Overall, great product, will likely order again for another project. ... show more

The pictures showing this product are deceiving. They show houses with soffits glowing in color, where you can’t make out the individual LEDs in the strip. That is ideally what you want. However, once installed using their sticky back surface and 10mm mounting clips, it’s too late to come back and put any kind of a diffuser over the lights. Most diffusers are like channels that need mounted first, then the LED strips go inside of them. Using diffusers would give you the soft effect shown in the pictures that describe this product. What you actually get after installation looks like a runway at an airport, lights that get keyed up as the plane approaches the strip. The pictures also show multi colors glowing at the same time under soffits. The only way you get that is having individual strips you can control separately. One strip can only produce one color at a time. Sure you can rotate between colors, but the entire strip can only be one color at a time. I am uploading examples of the glowing look under house soffits, and then the actual look after installation. Each LED light stands out from the adjacent lights. There is no glow. You would definitely need diffusers to produce some sort of glow. I don’t know of any other way. Having said all this, I still think they’re nice light kits. I mean, if you hang up Christmas lights, they do the same thing, i.e., each bulb stands out individually. They don’t glow. I wish after installing these that I would’ve thought of this ahead of time. I don’t feel like ripping them down and starting over. I’m going to live with it, even though my wife doesn’t love them. ... show more

I was amazed by the brightness and range of colors these lights offer. The remote is handy, but the app takes it to another level, letting you fully customize the settings for any occasion or holiday. The music sync feature is fantastic, and the flexibility to connect and trim the lights to fit your space is incredibly useful during installation. Initially, I thought other lights would be brighter, but once I set these up, I was blown away. They’re easy to install and a blast to control the colors and patterns. The price is excellent compared to similar products, especially for the length of the light set. Whether using the remote or the app, the light show is spectacular. The media could not be loaded. These are so amazing! I got these for a 2500sq ft house and only used one 200 ft roll for the entire house! Now we have a full roll as a back up! These are durable, bright, customizable, go to music, presets on remote, and easy to install! We are leaving them up for every holiday as we used the adhesive on the backing to put them up permanently! The length of one roll I cant believe did the entire house! We love them and I'm so glad i splurged on these new bright lights compared to traditional Christmas lights these have so much more use you can get out of them in the long run ... show more

Very easy to install, adhesive holds it in place while you attach it. I used a staple gun to attach as well, but use caution not to pierce the strip or cut it with the staple. Value is worth it. 400 feet covered my entire house and then some… it’s just bright enough so it still looks classy and clean.
