Like single strapped knee pads and even some double strapped that are close together they start to cause some serious pain behind knee on back of legs. I avoided knee pads when possible because of that. Not these ones. They are as good as it gets for comfort in that area. The top are the new ones the yellow are my old ones lasted almost 2 years of flat work concrete finishing (street panels/curbs/gutters/patches/ meaning I’m always on my knees). These are by far the best knee pads I have ever bought. I wear them for 8+ hours a day, 6 days a week! They last 6 to 9 months before I have to replace them. It's the only brand I'll buy!

    • Very comfortable but straps a bit short

I have aging knees, and can not kneel for more than a minute or two. These pads let me kneel for 10-15 minutes without much discomfort. They are MUCH better than the basic set I had. The hard rubber outside makes them safe on a sloping roof, and look pretty durable - but don't know for sure yet. I am 6'1" and maybe 250 lb. The straps make it, but only just. You may need a velcro extension if you are much larger. The pads themselves will take a bigger knee. ... show more
