Great odor control, smells better than my old plain box. The boxy design that really cuts down on litter tracking and fits well in my space. What I love most is the magnetic design. I don't see a lot of people talking about it in reviews-it makes cleaning so much easier. I can just lift off the top cover, the globe, and the litter mat to wash them, then use a vacuum to suck up any dirt left on the base. In terms of deep cleaning, it takes me less than 15 minutes to get everything spotless once the parts are dry. PetSnowy is my first automatic litter box and has exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of use and how much time I save on scooping. Really smart design and feels super well-made. I was skeptical of any automatic litter box on the market. I searched for days trying to find the perfect one, and I eventually settled on this one. It is quite large, but that is necessary because of the function of the litter box! It still does allow some litter to escape, but the entrance does a good job at capturing most of it. It is very quiet, and there is virtually no smell, even without the air freshener. So many neat features about this litter box in the app! I’ve only had a couple of minor issues with the app connectivity, but all either self-resolved or were easy to resolve. The cats took a week or two to adjust, but what helped us was taking off the lid and letting them use that. They eventually adjusted and now we have zero issues with them and the litter box! Sometimes, all of the litter does not make it into the bag underneath, but that might be due to the type of litter I am using. It is fairly easy to clean if you really need to, but one month in of having it and I can’t imagine scooping a litter box every day anymore! ... show more

The litter box is not a small size, which is good thing, since I was concerned if the drum is too small. Our cat is about 7.2 lbs and small built; She gave the litter box a visit the first night we set it up and did her business. on average she stopped by 4 to 6 times a day, and it is great to be able to track it. I used to clean the floor every two days for the litter the cat brought out with traditional litter box that has a door, but since using this automatic litter box, the litter outside is significantly less. It still requires vacuuming and cleaning, which is rather small task in comparison. Need to scrub off the litter stick to the wall of the drum, vacuum the litter on the small carpet pad. I also lift the drum and vacuum the litter (if any) around the seal area. After cleaning I would run manual clean cycle, add some new litter to max line, and push R to reset the weight. I like the waste drawer design, though the bag is open when inserted, there are brush seals between drum and the waste drawer, so the smell is much lower compared to traditional litter box. We didn't use the provided refreshers, assuming our cat may not enjoy the smell. In order to get the weight correctly, the litter box needs to be on the floor directly. The App is pretty good, easy to use and track. This is well engineered design, for example the top lid has slow closing mechanism; The material, fit and finish are high quality feel. As long as it is being taken good care of and its limitation is known, we think this is well worth the money, allow us to go out for a longer vacation. Just wanted to add a quick edit as one of my issues with the box was that it wasn’t always detecting when my cat used it, however after re-reading the owners manual I realized it was user error as it needs to be sitting on a hard surface. I put a board under it and that solved my problem! Pros: - Most importantly, my cat uses it! - Minimal litter tracking (even with my cat who is an enthusiastic digger) thanks to the enclosed design and textured mat. It has a bigger footprint than other automatic litter boxes but I think that its size actually works in its favor - Changing the waste bag is easy - Curtain is removable - Quiet, my cat got used to the sound of it cleaning quickly and it doesn’t scare her - Very low odor! I wouldn’t go a full 14 days without changing the waste bag but a few times a week is more than enough - Works well with both clay and plant based clumping litter - We have a small apartment so we have to keep it in the living room, and I don’t mind how it looks at all. Cons: - App is unreliable and it took me forever to connect it to the box as it kept giving error messages. - Very limited accessories! This is a missed opportunity imo as I wish I could buy a ramp or a step (I improvised with a yoga block for my cat) - No light inside! I installed my own light with motion detection which my cat seems to like - I also wish there were more curtain options available - The included scent pods aren’t my favorite - Waste bags are expensive and proprietary - Clumps of litter can sometimes become stuck to the bottom of the drum, but it is easy to clean off Bottom line: I am happy with my purchase and I’m glad I went with the Snow+ over its competitors! ... show more
