Description

Zippo’s Matte lighters are one of the most popular lighter finishes as the matte finish gives the lighter a smooth texture, it doesn’t show fingerprints, it doesn't scratch easily, and there are a variety of colors to choose from. The black matte lighter was first introduced into Zippo’s stock line in 1984 and soon after four more colors were introduced; blue, burgundy, green, and grey. In 1985, the Zippo logo was imprinted on the lighter and a border was added. Matte colors and designs continue to improve with time. Each lighter has a bottom stamp signifying the year it was made, is refillable, and is backed by Zippo's famous lifetime guarantee. All windproof lighters are American made in our Bradford, PA factory and come packaged in a gift box.

Whether collecting or using them, Zippo lighters are great. They are extremely collectible, hold their value well and the company is a USA company, one of the few left. Their warranty or guarantee is almost unmatched. If I'm not mistaken, Zippo and Case pocketknives are both owned by the same parent company and both have the reputation of true customer satisfaction. I know a woman that has a whole room filled with Zippo lighters and display cases. She owns so many that Zippo has invited her on multiple occasions to come tour the plant. Zippo is one of the most well known lighter brands out there and always deliver quality and consistency with each of there lighters. They come in a wide variety of different colors and designs. I got a kind of royal blue that looks and feels great! I recieved it right on time, and it came with the zippo box with the sealed stickers and all. Just needed some fluid and works perfect. I use it multiple times a day. Color was EXACTLY the same as the photo. Opens and closes easy, but is a bit of a fluid guzzler if used a lot of left open too long. Its a real zippo, and lives up to those standards. Its better to buy it here for the 15$ than the $25 i would of spent on the same exact lighter somewhere else. Came with the gaurentee, but just so you know that it does NOT cover the finish, so if it gets scratched up thats all you, but if the wheel breaks you can send it in and they will fix it and send it back.
