This is a great little lighter. Seems to hold a charge for a decent amount of time, does a good job at lighting tinder, not as good as a direct flame but still works well. I have sadly been on this island for 13 days now with nothing but this lighter, a gps, and a hatchet to start. My only surviving colleague from our crash had his ears blown out so the only thing hd can hear is the hum of this lighter. The cannibals keep trying to take over, and the UV the lighter emits seems to help, but not completely deter. I built a fire with it last night to roast some freshly caught fish, and a strange three legged woman came out from the woods to sit by the fire. She brought me berries. I recently got this lighter, and it’s pretty impressive! The build quality is tough and durable, giving it a premium feel. It’s excellent in windy conditions and doesn’t require frequent recharges, which is super convenient. However, the space between the plasma arcs is quite small, which can make it tricky to use with certain items. Despite that, it’s a handy and efficient tool for specific uses. This is a great camping lighter - We purchased it for our survival kit. It works really well. It's small, very compact. Rubberized on the outside to make it easier to hold on to. It's a great emergency lighter! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
