What often happened is that they all felt very comfortable to sleep on during the first few weeks and then my neck started to feel the pain again. I was in a non-stop for so long until I made this purchase. I was very hesitant to write a positive product review at the beginning and didn't hold my hope high based on my past experience but now that I've had it for over a year, I'm just glad to say that I finally can stop tbe search. The pillow is soft but also firm enough to provide the support. I use the lower side as it fits me better but you can adjust the height as needed. The pillow also comes with a high-quality case - I've washed it for so many times and it still looks like new after a year and half. Nothing to complaint about - such a great buy! ... show more

    • Seems to help with neck pain
I wouldn't say this pillow works miracles or has completely cured my neck pain, but it does seem to help. I think it takes a few months of use for the results to kick in. My neck pain was the result of both tissue/bone damage and stress. In addition to this pillow I also take a couple of Olly sleep aid or stress relief gummies before bed. The combination has helped my previous morning neck pain, but not completely "cured" it. We'll see how long the pillow holds up before I need to replace it with a new one. Read the directions for the pillow before using though to see how the pillow works best for your usual sleeping positions. Yeah, I know. Directions for a pillow, ha ha. Overall, this pillow does seem to help relieve some, but not all, of my neck pain. ... show more

    • Too hard and hurts my ears

Update: I've given this pillow another try. If I only use the middle section, meaning when I roll to my side from my back I place my head back in the dip in the pillow, I'm much more comfortable. It has stopped the shoulder pain I've been dealing with for years. It's even reduced the hump I've had at the top of my back for years. Old review: I cannot get comfortable with this pillow. I turn over constantly at night and have to fix my ears so they aren't folded or I will wake up in pain. The height didn't work for me on the high side even when with removing the middle insert. I then tried the low side and it's just too hard. I bought the firm and had even posed the question before buying if the firm pillow was soft enough for side sleeping and I got a yes it is response. Oh well. I can't return it because I was too optimistic about it and tossed the box. ... show more

    • A nice change from the typical pillow that helps alleviate neck pain.
After suffering from a terrible stiff neck with memory foam pillows. I thought I'd give one of these a try. Considering how many hours we sleep, it's important to use a pillow that doesn't cause you pain during the night. This pillow gives good support to a back sleeper like myself and I don't wake up with a stiff neck and a headache. Most of my pillow cases will easily fit this pillow as well. After several months of use, the durability seems solid, the quality of my sleep is very good, and I'd rate the support as very good, but not quite excellent. Super expensive pillows are well out of my budget, but for the price, I've been very satisfied to date. ... show more

    • Better than expected
I had looked at other, more expensive, memory foam pillows. Based on the reviews for this pillow, and the feedback that it had no chemical smell (which it doesn't!!), I decided to give this one a try for the price. It also has a great return policy if it does not work for you. When it arrived, I was pleased that it had the option to order additional inserts if the pillow was too slim. I am fairly broad shouldered and that has been a problem with other pillows, as a side sleeper. After a week with this pillow, I am pleased to say that I will not need an insert and that I have slept more soundly than I have in ages. The pillow is firm, but soft enough not to feel like a rock of memory foam under my head, and it doesn't weigh a million pounds like many others. I also liked the shape of this and that I can sleep on my back comfortably without having to shift the pillow around in the middle of the night. I had a similarly shaped pillow that I'd gotten from my chiropractor years ago, and it finally fell apart...and have been searching for a new one ever since. This pillow has similar curves and indentations, and the height of the sides for a side sleeper is perfect. I am really pleased with this pillow and am glad I gave it a shot. I haven't woken up with my hands dead asleep, or neck pain, since I've been using this pillow. I'd recommend at least giving it a try if you're thinking about a memory foam pillow - and I hope it works for you too! ... show more

Bought this for someone who had been using a very thin, ragged pillow for far too long. They're a back sleeper, so they preferred thin pillows, but had never bought one themselves. Last night was their first night with it and they're absolutely thrilled. The included booklet explains which parts to use for which positions, which was helpful. They fell asleep repeatedly in the morning after a full night's sleep because they were so comfortable for the first time. 10/10 ... show more
